Chillin' is a 87'10" motor yacht for sale delivered by Italian shipyard Azimut in 2020. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Stefano Righini, while Achille Salvagni is responsible for her interior design.
Key Features
- Flybridge with wet bar & grill
- Large tender garage/beach club
- Open-plan salon and dining
- Portuguese bridge to bow lounge
Design & Construction
Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and a carbon fibre superstructure she features a 21'7" beam and a 6'4" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 145 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The 27.1m (88ft 10in) Chillin' is part of Azimut’s Grande 27M series, with exterior design by Stefano Righini. From first glance, she carries the hallmarks of Italian styling: a sweeping hard chine hull, sharply angled windshield, and a distinctive expanse of glazing. Her profile blends sleek carbon features with a sporty black hard top, now wrapped in matte black for a refined finish. The result is a yacht that looks purposeful underway but with just enough softness in the lines to feel inviting at anchor.
Her shallow draft of 1.9m (6ft 2in) gives her easy access to shallow bays and anchorages, and the hull is constructed in GRP with a planing form. Twin staircases descend from the aft cockpit to the swim platform, which integrates with a spacious tender garage. That garage measures 4.5m by 2m (14.8ft by 6.6ft) and accommodates a Williams DJ 445 tender. When the tender’s deployed, the space opens up into a beach-style area right at the waterline.
At the bow, Azimut has created a forward lounge that makes full use of every available metre. Here, a U-shaped sunbed setup allows for relaxed sunbathing or reading, with options for full sun or shade. Low-profile bulwarks preserve a strong visual and sensory connection to the sea. A Portuguese bridge ties the space together and offers a peaceful spot to settle in with a drink and the horizon ahead.
The flybridge is large enough to host a sizeable gathering without anyone feeling crowded. Under the hard top, which includes a retractable skylight, there's a shaded dining area with a marble table and a wet bar equipped with a grill and bar stools. Lounge seating creates separate zones for conversation, sunbathing, or morning coffee. There’s loose gym equipment on hand for workouts with a view.
Interior Design
Achille Salvagni's interior design is confident and contemporary, blending lacquered wood finishes with curved lines and soft details that add warmth without feeling fussy. Light pours in from the oversized windows, particularly in the salon and master cabin, making the spaces feel open and easy. The design favours flexibility, with loose furniture that can be easily changed to suit different tastes. Much of it is by British designer Timothy Oulton, though the yacht is also sold with the original Azimut pieces for those who prefer a return to the original styling.
The main deck features an open-plan salon and dining area that makes the most of the 6.6m (21ft 9in) beam. There's a smooth flow between lounging and dining areas, helped by a slightly asymmetric layout that keeps things visually interesting. A retractable TV is integrated into the ceiling, giving the option of a media space without intruding on the room’s open feel.
Forward of the salon, a day head is positioned for easy access, while steps lead up to a raised wheelhouse with Simrad Gold navigation equipment. A small passenger seat allows guests to enjoy the helm in motion.
On the port side, a discreet sliding door connects to the galley and pantry. This separation gives guests privacy during service, while a pantograph door provides external access for the crew. The galley is well proportioned and fully equipped, including a 419L (110.7 gallons) fridge, a 247L (65.2 gallons) freezer, dishwasher, induction cooktop, and ample worktop space for meal preparation.
Accommodation
Chillin’ carries a total of five guest cabins, sleeping up to 10 guests. The standout feature here is the full-beam owner’s suite, located forward on the main deck. For a yacht of this length, a main deck master is still relatively rare, and this one is well executed. The cabin includes a walk-in wardrobe raised just three steps above the sleeping area, additional under-berth storage, and an ensuite with twin sinks, a large walk-in shower, and elegant wood detailing. Large windows flood the room with light, while a built-in mirrored TV and a dual-purpose desk add functionality.
Below deck, the guest accommodation is arranged as two doubles and two twins, all ensuite. Thoughtful detailing runs throughout these spaces, from floating-effect bedside tables and retro-inspired lighting to subtle ambient light bars. Portholes in the cabins are openable, adding a practical touch of ventilation.
Crew quarters are located forward and consist of two cabins (one with a pullman) and a central crew mess. The layout currently accommodates 4 crew.
