Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.87m beam and a 1.57m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 144 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in June 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The FD80 Hull 15 presents a striking profile, with its Skyline design defined by elegant horizontal lines and uninterrupted full-height windows that sweep across the yacht’s length. The visual styling plays with shadows and soft curves to create a sense of motion even at rest. The anthracite grey radar mast adds a subtle contrast, reinforcing the yacht’s contemporary character without overpowering its refined silhouette.
The aft main deck has a six-person dining table that is complemented by adaptable freestanding furniture, while amenities like double-drawer fridge/freezer units and an integrated ice maker are cleverly hidden in the design. A Besenzoni hydraulic passerelle extends from the port side, reaching up to 5.6m (18.4ft), providing smooth and practical access to dock or shore.
Moving up, the bridge deck aft connects with the enclosed Skylounge in an open-plan layout built for entertaining. Here, a central Jacuzzi is surrounded by a casual four-seat lounge (which can swap out for tender storage if preferred). An arc-shaped sofa faces a stylish teppanyaki bar, which includes a 43-inch fold-up TV and a wall-mounted wine cabinet. Optional awnings can shade this area when desired, transforming it into an all-day relaxation zone.
Forward of the wheelhouse, the bow lounge continues the outdoor living theme with U-shaped seating and generous sun pads, perfect for long lunches or laid-back lounging with an uninterrupted view.
Interior Design
The interior of FD80 Hull 15 reflects a gentle minimalist approach, curated in collaboration with Cor D. Rover. This custom styling uses flowing lines, muted tones, and high-quality finishes to create a serene onboard atmosphere. Bleached teak cabinetry pairs with brushed gunmetal highlights, and textured surfaces introduce subtle depth to the design.
Inside the main deck, large glass doors slide open into a full-beam salon framed by floor-to-ceiling windows. The layout connects lounging, dining, and cooking areas in one continuous, light-filled space. A bespoke entertainment console sits to starboard with a 65-inch TV at its heart, positioned to serve both relaxed evenings and sociable gatherings.
The galley is arranged around a central island with three bar stools, promoting casual dining and making the space feel open and integrated. The design encourages shared moments, with the sights, sounds, and aromas of cooking contributing to the communal experience.
Upstairs, the enclosed wheelhouse offers a professional yet comfortable command space. Three helm seats face the controls, while a raised L-shaped dinette with wraparound seating offers a great vantage point for guests. A dayhead here adds a practical touch, supporting the use of this upper deck as a sociable and operational space alike.
Accommodation
FD80 Hull 15 provides accommodation for up to 8 guests in four ensuite staterooms. The master suite sits forward on the main deck, full-beam and flooded with natural light. A curved, wraparound headboard frames the central bed, with ample built-in storage surrounding the space. A 65-inch The Frame TV faces the bed, while the ensuite bathroom has been upgraded to match the higher spec seen on the larger FD90, including a his-and-hers vanity.
A staircase to starboard of the main foyer leads down to the guest cabins. These include two VIP staterooms to port and starboard, each with its own ensuite, plus a versatile forward cabin with a V-berth that converts to a double. A well-appointed laundry area sits nearby, equipped with washer, dryer, and ironing board, neatly contained within the forward guest zone.
Crew quarters are located aft of the engine room and are configured for four members. They include separate access via the beach club for added privacy and efficiency in operations. This arrangement helps maintain clear divisions between guest and crew circulation while ensuring crew have good access to all key working areas on board.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V10 1600) 1,600hp engines, motor yacht FD80 /15 is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
