The 28m motor yacht Kala was delivered to her owners in 2008 by British shipyard Sunseeker. Her naval architecture and interior design comes from the drawing boards of Don Shead Yacht Design, while Sunseeker is responsible for her exterior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.3m beam and a 2m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 130 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Accommodation
Kala offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32 ACERT) 12-cylinder 1,800hp engines, motor yacht Kala is capable of reaching a top speed of 28 knots, and comfortably cruises at 21 knots. With her 9,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 400 nautical miles at 21 knots.
