Kokomo is a 78'7" catamaran yacht delivered by Polish shipyard Sunreef Yachts in 2021. Sunreef Yachts' in-house team has created the interior and exterior design of the superyacht.

Key Features

  • Hydraulic tender and jet ski lift
  • Galley-up with large appliances
  • Full-beam flybridge with grill
  • Wide, sunken walkaround side decks

Design & Construction

Designed around a catamaran composite hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 40'1" beam and a 5'11" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 156 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the tenth yacht built on the 80 Sunreef Power design.

Exterior Design

Kokomo’s exterior is shaped around the generous footprint of the Sunreef 80 Power platform. At 23.95m (78.7ft) in length with a 12m (39.4ft) beam, she delivers the kind of deck space more typically associated with much larger monohulls. Her broad fibreglass hulls are finished in a soft, neutral tone that pairs well with the natural teak accents throughout.

At the stern, a wide hydraulic swim platform doubles as a tender lift and launch system. It can support craft up to 5m (16.4ft) in length, and is flanked by two substantial sugar scoops that curve forward into the hull sides, easing access when moored side-on. Docking is simplified with integrated stern cleats, a windlass system, and stainless steel chafing plates to preserve the teak decking.

The cockpit offers a clean, rounded design language that runs consistently through the yacht. There's a teak inlay underfoot and a large garage with a hydraulic lift for a three-person jet ski, plus plenty of surrounding locker space for fuel cans and water toys.

Wide, recessed side decks are a hallmark of Sunreef’s updated styling. Here, deep bulwarks and clear walkways make movement forward easy and safe. The bow is home to an enormous sunpad with reclining backrests and cupholders, comfortably seating up to 10 people. Underneath, there’s cavernous storage space, easily over 3m (10ft) deep, along with dual anchor lockers, chain bins, and room for a spare or stern anchor.

The flybridge rivals the main deck in scale. A broad layout cushion mirrors the lounging area on the bow. There's also a large dining table, a built-in griddle and grill setup, sink, fridge, storage and an ice maker. An additional mounted life raft ensures safety compliance.

Guests can relax beside the helm on a long bench seat under the integrated enclosure, creating a communal atmosphere underway. The entire bow can also be accessed from the flybridge via Sunreef’s watertight forward door, which leads into yet another lounge space with removable cushions and informal seating.

Kokomo delivers long-range cruising with the deck space of a far larger yacht.

Interior Design

Inside Kokomo, the tone shifts to beach house elegance. Soft curves, natural textures and a light, champagne-tinted palette keep the atmosphere open and inviting. A defining feature of the main saloon is the absence of hard corners, with rounded cabinetry and flowing shapes echoed throughout the furnishings.

The main deck saloon is configured around an open galley-up layout, anchored by a central bar with a pop-up TV and built-in cocktail station. The galley is fully equipped with a full-size oven, large induction cooktop, powerful hood, dishwasher, twin sinks, and a floor-to-ceiling fridge and freezer setup. Drawer-style storage is tucked discreetly throughout, including deep roll-out compartments and organised cleaning spaces. A premium espresso machine adds a homely touch.

Opposite the galley, the dining area features flexible furnishings and twin drinks fridges, ideal for entertaining. A washer and dryer are subtly integrated nearby. Large sliding doors open to the aft cockpit, extending the interior seamlessly into the outdoors.

Toward the front of the saloon, a cosy reading nook is tucked under a bank of skylights that flood the space with daylight. Electric blinds throughout provide shade and privacy when needed. The forward-facing interior helm is fully equipped for longer passages, with good visibility and protection in adverse weather.

At the lower helm, instrumentation includes shift and throttle controls, bow thruster, VHF radio, Raymarine and Furuno multifunction displays, MAN engine monitors, autopilot and navigation lights. Systems management is conveniently housed in a concealed panel to starboard, containing generator controls, bilge switches, water maker, and fire suppression.

Accommodation

Kokomo is configured with four guest cabins plus separate crew quarters, providing generous space for eight guests and a dedicated crew.

The owner's suite occupies a prime position forward in the port hull. A king-size bed sits beneath Sunreef’s newest panoramic windows, offering wide-angle sea views. There are twin wardrobes, a lounge settee, and extensive built-in storage throughout. The ensuite features a walk-in rain shower, separate toilet, deep cabinetry, and additional wardrobe space cleverly integrated into the layout.

Two mirror-image guest cabins are situated amidships and forward in each hull. All benefit from walk-in wardrobes, ensuite bathrooms, working desks, and plenty of storage. The bathrooms follow the same rounded, tactile styling seen throughout the yacht, with tall rainfall showers, integrated bins, and curved mirrors and cabinetry. One of the midship guest rooms includes a slightly enlarged head and more counter space, adding flexibility for family use.

The fourth cabin is designed as a children’s room, with open shelving for books and games, a full desk setup, and its own ensuite. As with all other guest spaces, headroom is generous and the finish is light and airy.

Crew quarters for 5 are accessed from the port side, discreetly separated from the guest areas. A comfortable twin-bunk cabin features a wet head and its own natural light thanks to extended hull windows. There’s a proper door for privacy, generous locker space, and immediate access to service areas without interfering with guest flow.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V8-1200) 1,200hp engines, motor yacht Kokomo is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots.

Kokomo’s galley-up configuration keeps the main deck fully sociable and service-friendly.
