Cannes, FranceDelivered in 2023, Oscar is a 36.88m motor yacht for sale built by Turkish shipyard Numarine. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Can Yalman, while Umberto Tagliavini is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 7.98m beam and a 2.69m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 345 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fifth yacht built on the 37XP design. Launched in August 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in October 2023.
Exterior Design
Oscar is the fifth Numarine 37XP, delivered in 2023, and she has one of the more distinctive finishes in the series. Can Yalman’s explorer profile is carried in high gloss gunmetal grey across both the steel hull and composite superstructure, with long black window bands, an upright bow and a broad aft section that gives the yacht a far tougher look than the usual white 37m cruiser. At 345GT and 8m (26.2ft) across the beam, there is a lot of yacht here, but the glazing and stepped superstructure keep the profile from becoming slab sided.
Oscar was also built with an unusually extensive options list. One of the big departures from the usual 37XP arrangement is the upper deck, where the normal skylounge gives way to a private owner’s deck. That decision changes the balance of the yacht quite dramatically, putting the owner high up with far better views and leaving the main deck free for family spaces and entertaining.
The aft decks are very much in explorer territory. A 3 tonne crane serves the open boat deck, which carries an 8m (26.2ft) Salpa RIB along with the yacht’s toy inventory, and the layout keeps that working area separate from the lower beach club. The benefit is obvious once the tender is launched: the stern can stay in guest use without a boat sitting in the middle of it.
At water level, a hydraulic stern door opens to form the beach area. Oscar’s beach club is more than a swim platform, with air conditioning, an L shaped sofa, sink, refrigerator, ice maker, half bathroom and dedicated storage for dive and snorkelling gear. It is also where some of the yacht’s more playful kit lives, including Seabobs, a Fliteboard and inflatable slides.
The flybridge is another substantial guest deck, with a Jacuzzi, second helm, bar, dining for 12, lounge seating and a television beneath an extended hardtop. Carbon poles and sunshades add more cover around the exterior decks, so Oscar can create proper shaded living areas without enclosing them.
Interior Design
Hot Lab designed Oscar’s custom interior, and this is where she moves furthest away from a standard 37XP. The architecture is still recognisably Numarine, with broad rooms, large windows and a strong horizontal connection to the water, but the decorative treatment is much more personal.
The main saloon uses pale oak toned timber, soft upholstery and darker metal detailing, with large windows running almost the full length of the room. So much daylight reaches the centre of the saloon, while the herringbone floor and low furniture keep the eye moving out towards the windows. Minotti and Giorgetti furniture sits alongside custom work, so the room feels polished without turning stiff.
De Gournay wallpaper is used throughout the yacht, with different rooms given their own themes. The forward playroom is deliberately colourful, while the lower deck twin cabin takes a more fashion led approach inspired by Dior. It gives Oscar much more personality than the beige-on-beige treatment often found on family yachts of this size.
The layout also tells you a lot about how the yacht was commissioned. Forward on the main deck, the usual VIP or owner’s cabin was replaced by a children’s playroom and cinema with its own full bathroom. It can be converted into a seventh guest cabin later if required, but in normal use it gives younger guests a proper space of their own instead of asking the main saloon to cover everything.
Accommodation
Oscar accommodates 12 guests in six cabins, with the owner occupying a private suite on the upper deck and five guest cabins below.
The owner’s suite sits on the centreline of the upper deck and includes a king size bed, vanity and desk, dressing space and a large bathroom with soaking tub, rainfall shower, twin basins and a bidet. Moving the owner up one level brings better views and much more privacy than the usual forward main deck arrangement.
Five further guest cabins are grouped on the lower deck, giving Oscar a notably strong sleeping layout for a 37m yacht. The forward main deck playroom can become a seventh cabin if needed, adding another layer of flexibility for larger family groups.
Crew accommodation is arranged for eight across five cabins, including the captain. The laundry also incorporates an additional crew berth and private bathroom, which allows it to double as the fifth crew cabin when required.
Performance & Capabilities
Oscar uses a full displacement steel hull with a bulbous bow, driven by twin 900hp MAN D2862 LE 427 diesels through conventional shafts. The engines meet IMO Tier III requirements, and the yacht is fitted with CMC electric fin stabilisers with zero speed capability.
Top speed is around 14 knots, with comfortable cruising at roughly 12 knots. The larger story is range: depending on speed, Oscar is quoted between about 4,500nm and 6,000nm, backed by 48,993 litres of fuel. That gives the 37XP genuine legs for extended passages, not just the explorer styling.
A 90kW bow thruster, 45kW stern thruster and electrohydraulic steering help with close quarters handling, while upgraded Raymarine navigation, Time Zero, Starlink and multiple manoeuvring stations give the bridge team a fairly serious operating package for a yacht of this size.
