After the recent delivery of the first Numarine 40MXP earlier this year in August, the new model builds on the series’ expedition-ready foundation with greater range, volume, and an enhanced focus on outdoor living.
Built on the Numarine 37XP
Developed as an evolution of the Numarine 37XP, the 40MXP introduces new dimensions of comfort and capability. Designed by Can Yalman with naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini, the model measures 39.11 meters overall with an 8.04-meter beam and 499 gross tons of interior volume. Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the yacht combines ocean-going strength with refined Mediterranean styling - the “M” in MXP standing for “Mediterranean Explorer.”

Despite this nod to warmer waters, the explorer yacht was conceived to travel anywhere in the world. With a range of 6,000 nautical miles and a displacement hull designed for long passages, the 40MXP balances robust expedition credentials with the easy livability of a private motor yacht.
Built for Endurance and Comfort
Mitan follows the first hull Miouch, sharing the same tri-deck configuration and profile shaped by Yalman’s signature lines. Her stretched aft deck is one of the defining features of the design.

It extends the outdoor guest areas to include a full-beam beach club, an expansive lounge, alfresco dining space, and a bar overlooking a large stern pool. The swim platform below spans the yacht’s entire beam, creating a direct connection to the water.

Teak decks, a steel displacement hull, and aluminum superstructure provide the structural foundation, while twin 900 hp MAN engines deliver a top speed of 14 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 12 knots.
Inside the 40MXP’s Six-Cabin Layout
The Numarine 40MXP accommodates up to 12 guests across six suites, supported by a crew of seven. The interior, also by Can Yalman, continues Numarine’s approach to open, versatile living spaces tailored for long-term cruising. Although Mitan’s personal styling remains private, the general layout includes a full-beam owner’s suite, multiple guest cabins on the lower deck, and an airy main saloon connected to the aft terrace through full-height glass doors.

Large windows throughout the superstructure of the motor yacht enhance light and visibility, while neutral materials and contemporary finishes maintain a calm, understated tone.
Power, Range, and Reliability
Built for extended autonomy, the 40MXP carries 51,000 liters of fuel, enabling her to reach transoceanic distances without refueling. Her 345-ton displacement supports stability and comfort in varied sea conditions, while the twin-screw propulsion ensures efficient passage-making at lower speeds.

This focus on efficiency and endurance positions the 40MXP as one of the most capable yachts in Numarine’s explorer range – designed not only for the Mediterranean but for true global exploration.
The 40MXP has already received industry recognition, with the design named a finalist for Best Exterior Design (30–50m) at the 2025 World Yachts Trophies. Its distinctive balance of strength, range, and lifestyle-driven spaces represents the next phase in Numarine’s expedition philosophy.
According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, the largest yacht database in the world, the third Numarine 40MXP superyacht is on the market and is currently asking €18,500,000. She is due to be delivered in 2026.
