Design & Construction

Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and a carbon fibre superstructure she features a 6.59m beam and a 1.93m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 145 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the twenty-first yacht built on the Grande 27M design.

Exterior Design

Queen Ana is an Azimut Grande 27 Metri built in 2019, carrying the unmistakable flowing profile of the series. From the quay her dark hull contrasts cleanly with the white superstructure, and the sharp angles along the glazing emphasize the modern Italian styling. The large, continuous windows stretch along the main deck, while the flybridge extends aft in a broad overhang, giving the yacht a powerful stance on the water.

At the stern, the beach club offers a shower, a sunbed, and space for loose furniture. The garage just behind provides storage for a 4.35m (14.3ft) Williams jet tender.

The aft deck is designed as a social hub, with a C-shaped sofa wrapped around white marble dining tables for up to 10 guests. A TV screen, sink, and freezer are also fitted here. A button-operated privacy screen allows meals to be enjoyed away from view while docked in a marina.

Up top, the flybridge opens out into a wide entertaining space. A marble dining table again caters for 10 guests, flanked by wet bars with sinks to either side. The aft section is arranged with four loose chairs and two sunbeds, while a grill and induction cooking setup add to the al-fresco dining options. The layout keeps to Azimut’s curved design language, with rounded edges repeated throughout the deck.

The foredeck is arranged around a large sunbed stretching nearly the full beam of the yacht, a C-shaped sofa, and a marble-topped coffee table. This entire space can be shaded by a bimini supported on carbon poles, and integrated speakers allow music to set the atmosphere. It’s a relaxed, flexible area equally suited to coffee in port or sunbathing at anchor.

Interior Design

The interiors are the work of Achille Salvagni, who introduced rounded, organic forms to soften the spaces and create a calm, flowing feel. The main salon forms the heart of the yacht, its open plan furnished with a mix of high-gloss black wood and lighter tones. Storage is cleverly built in, including cabinets for cutlery and glassware. A pop-up television rises from the ceiling, leaving the view through the large side windows uninterrupted when not in use.

The galley is generously sized for a 27m yacht, equipped with wine storage, oven, twin freezers, twin fridges, and induction cooking. Two sliding doors, one opening to the side deck and another to the salon, allow the crew to work discreetly.

The wheelhouse is reached from the flybridge or via an internal ladder in the foyer. Simrad panels manage the yacht’s navigation and onboard systems, while the helm itself is fitted with thrusters, Humphree controllers, and repeaters for essential functions.

Accommodation

The main deck master cabin is positioned forward, filled with natural light from large windows and finished in pale woods. The cabin has a large double bed and plentiful wardrobe space with shelves and hanging rails. The ensuite is appointed with a marble double sink and a walk-in shower.

Below, the guest area provides four further cabins. On each side, port and starboard, are mirror-image double cabins with rounded design details, double beds, and mirrored televisions. A single cabin is arranged with two separate beds, also fitted with a mirrored TV, and has its own ensuite with enclosed shower. In total, Queen Ana accommodates up to 10 guests in comfort.

She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (R V12) 12-cylinder 1,900hp engines, motor yacht Queen Ana is capable of reaching a top speed of 28 knots, and comfortably cruises at 24 knots. With her 9,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 880 nautical miles at an economic speed of 11 knots.
