Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 2.14m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 385 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the twenty-eighth yacht built on the Oasis 40M design. She was completed at Benetti's Livorno yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.

Exterior Design

The 40.8m (133.9ft) Benetti Oasis 40M Sirius X has Italian yacht building with automotive-inspired British styling, creating a profile that feels contemporary without losing the elegance expected of a Benetti.

The design begins with a near-vertical bow that maximises waterline length and gives the yacht a strong, upright stance. Sharp character lines sweep aft from the forward sections, while the wheelhouse incorporates vertical glazing that adds a subtle expedition-yacht influence. Despite her substantial internal volume, the tri-deck profile remains balanced and relatively low, avoiding the top-heavy appearance often associated with yachts in this size range.

Full-height windows dominate the main and upper decks, forming continuous bands of dark glazing that appear almost seamlessly integrated into the profile. These large glass sections visually reduce the scale of the superstructure while bringing significant natural light into the interior.

The defining feature of Sirius X is the Oasis Deck at the stern - one of the most influential beach club concepts introduced to the 40m market in recent years. Rather than a conventional raised aft cockpit, the main deck is positioned unusually close to the water, creating a resort-style beach area that flows naturally into the sea. Hydraulic fold-down bulwarks extend the beam from 8.5m (27.9ft) to approximately 11m (36.1ft), transforming the stern into a vast waterside terrace. The cascading deck arrangement creates a series of open-air lounging levels and gives the aft profile a far more dynamic appearance than the traditional boxy stern sections found on many motor yachts. 

Accommodation

Sirius X offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-1400) 12-cylinder 1,400hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Sirius X is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 45,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles.
