Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 11.6m beam and a 3.38m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 1,541 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.
Construction started in late 2009. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in August 2018 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in November 2018.
Exterior Design
The motor yacht Casino Royale features a multi-level exterior layout designed for outdoor living, entertainment and waterside relaxation.
The upper deck aft is a flexible space with removable cabanas that allow the deck to switch between shaded sunbathing and a touch-and-go helipad configuration. A central hot tub sits within molded seating edges and is surrounded by sun loungers. A covered bar with four stools creates a social area beside the spa. This deck also includes a shaded sofa, a small grass area designed for pets, a day head with shower, and a small table suited to drinks or card games.
At the very top of the yacht, the sundeck offers wide views and strong airflow while at anchor or underway. Seating surrounds a central table, with additional sunpads positioned forward. A canopy provides shade, while the central mast houses navigation equipment and the yacht’s Starlink satellite internet system. The sundeck also includes a shower, a technical locker and additional seating areas alongside a forward infinity pool.
Below, the bridge deck aft provides a sheltered outdoor dining space capable of seating up to 12 guests. The layout includes comfortable sofas, crew storage areas and direct access to the interior bridge deck spaces.
The foredeck combines operational equipment with guest space. Accessible from the main deck and crew bridge doors, it houses the anchor windlasses, wing control stations and storage for jet skis. A dedicated crane launches and retrieves the watercraft, allowing the area to function as a practical water-sports platform when the yacht is at anchor.
The main deck aft is the arrival point when boarding the superyacht Casino Royale. A glass-sided hot tub sits centrally, framed by symmetrical seating areas. Deck hardware including winches and bollards is integrated neatly into the layout. Instead of sliding doors, the saloon entrance uses large fixed glass panels, with access provided through side deck doors.
At sea level, the yacht’s beach club forms a wellness and relaxation zone. Facilities include a steam room, sauna, gym and bar area. Both the gym and sauna feature drop-down balconies that open toward the sea, improving airflow and views while at anchor. A television and lounge seating complete the beach club.
The tender garage stores two RIB tenders and a range of watersports equipment. A crane system launches the tenders directly from the garage, while additional storage keeps diving and water toys organised.
Operational areas on the yacht include a commercial chef’s galley, laundry room and dedicated dry storage space. Waste management systems include compactors and refrigerated storage designed to handle rubbish efficiently during long passages.
Interior Design
The interior of Casino Royale yacht, designed by Margherita Casprini, blends dark architectural finishes with lighter fabrics and artwork.
Walls throughout the yacht are finished in dark grey oak, paired with black oak flooring that runs across the main guest spaces. Custom furniture incorporates Macassar ebony, introducing deeper tones and visual texture.
Stone finishes play an important role in the interior palette. Cappuccino marble from Rajasthan appears throughout several areas, while Forest Black antique marble from France features in the beach club flooring, a staircase and the owner’s bathroom.
Bars on board the superyacht Casino Royale use backlit white onyx surfaces, creating a focal point for evening gatherings. Natural light also plays a central role in the design. Large windows and laminated glass bulwarks allow guests to maintain uninterrupted sea views even while seated inside.
A distinctive lighting installation built from bronzed mirror tiles hangs above the dining table, casting warm reflections across the dining area.
The sky lounge and piano bar serve as one of the yacht’s main social spaces. Deep seating from Fendi Casa surrounds a 90-inch 4K OLED screen, while a fireplace adds warmth during evening gatherings. Expansive windows wrap around the room, creating wide views across the surrounding sea.
In the main dining room, a custom aquarium by Melik forms a striking centrepiece. The tank houses tropical fish and uses a self-filtration system designed to minimise maintenance requirements.
The lower deck beach club continues the interior’s spa-like atmosphere. Tuscan Calacatta marble lines the space, while a cold-water shower set to 5°C contrasts with the sauna environment.
Accommodation
Casino Royale offers luxurious and spacious accommodation for up to 12 guests. The yacht features six well-appointed cabins, including an expansive owner’s suite, a VIP cabin, two double cabins, and two convertible double cabins.
The owner’s suite, located on the upper deck, is a private and luxurious retreat. It opens with an owner's study featuring a quiet, private space with sofa seating, a day head, and a view-oriented desk. The main stateroom offers wraparound glass for 270-degree views, a private hot tub on a secluded deck, and a beautifully arranged walk-in wardrobe. The ensuite bathroom is equipped with his-and-hers toilets, twin sinks, a separate shower cubicle, and a low-set bath with floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a stunning vista.
The VIP cabin is situated forward on the main deck. This spacious cabin features a king-size bed, extensive storage, and a private bathroom with a bath, separate shower cubicle, twin sinks, and a toilet. The elegant design includes leather countertops and striking artwork.
The main deck houses four additional guest cabins:
Two Double Cabins: Both cabins mirror each other, offering ample floor space, towering headroom, and large storage areas. Each cabin is equipped with a TV and a private bathroom.
Two Convertible Double Cabins: These cabins can be configured either as doubles or twins, making them flexible for different guest needs. Each cabin includes private bathroom facilities.
Casino Royale has space for 17 crew members, ensuring a high level of service and maintenance. The crew quarters include a Captain's Cabin located behind the bridge with a private bathroom, study area, and storage and an Officer’s Cabin with a private bathroom, single berth, desk area, and storage. The standard crew cabins include single and bunk cabins, each with a private bathroom. The crew mess is a large area with twin dinettes, storage, a TV, and a small kitchen for the crew’s use.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516B) 16-cylinder 2,480hp engines, motor yacht Casino Royale is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 162,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 9,100 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea.
