Exterior Design
The 80m (262ft) Feadship Thalassa is a sleek and elegant yacht designed by Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design, marking a bold new direction for the Dutch shipyard. Known primarily for sailing yacht design, McKeon brought a performance-led approach to the project, blending the elegance and efficiency of modern sailing yachts with the scale and capability of a contemporary motor yacht. Her low freeboard, uncluttered foredeck and graphite-coloured hull create a distinctive profile, while the flowing lines give the yacht a noticeably lighter appearance than many vessels of similar size.
The yacht features an elongated foredeck and carefully layered decks, but it is the aft section that has become one of her defining features. A central highlight of the main deck aft is the long swimming pool surrounded by sunpads. The pool features a glass bottom, allowing filtered natural light to illuminate the beach club below. A floating stairway descends from the aft deck to the beach club beneath the glass panels, creating an ever-changing pattern of light and reflections throughout the space.
At 165sqm (1,776sqft), the beach club is the largest ever created on a Feadship. Arranged across two levels, it forms the centrepiece of an extensive wellness and watersports programme. Three opening sides bring the sea directly into the space, including an aft door spanning almost the yacht's full 13m (43ft) beam. Smart teak decking, brushed metal detailing, fluted wood wall panels and a sculptural central staircase contribute to a refined but contemporary atmosphere.
Thalassa's vertical bow leads into the expansive foredeck, where twin stairways descend to a sheltered lounge beneath the upper deck overhang. Extensive glazing and open gunwale sections along the profile maximise views from the main deck salon, while discreet shell doors and circular lower-deck portholes maintain the clean exterior lines.
The deck arrangement provides a variety of outdoor living areas connected by a stairway on the starboard quarter of each level. The main deck aft, upper deck lounge and bridge deck relaxation areas each offer different settings for dining, lounging and entertaining. A circular Jacuzzi is positioned forward on the sky deck, while a central circular bar sits beneath a canopy. Al fresco dining is available across multiple deck levels, with overhead decks providing shade throughout the day.
Stylish fluted towers add visual depth between the deck levels, while a vertical radar mast crowns the profile. Together, these elements create a yacht that combines Feadship craftsmanship with design influences more commonly associated with high-performance sailing yachts.
Accommodation
Thalassa offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 15 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M53) 2,467hp engines, motor yacht Thalassa is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 194,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,500 nautical miles at an economic speed of 12 knots.
