Vauban is a 36.92m motor yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo in 2024. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Zuccon International Project, while Sanlorenzo is responsible for her naval architecture.
Key Features
- Garage beach club with sea steps
- Fold-down main saloon balcony
- Teppanyaki grill on flybridge
- 26-knot maximum performance
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.6m beam and a 2.21m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 280 GT (Gross Tonnes).
She was delivered to her owners in August 2024.
Exterior Design
Vauban carries the low, elongated profile typical of recent Sanlorenzo designs, with a long band of dark glazing running through the main deck and visually stretching the superstructure from bow to stern while the lower hull is punctuated by a row of rectangular cabin windows.
Forward, the bow rises with a pronounced rake and recessed anchor pockets set into the hull sides, and the foredeck immediately behind it forms a guest lounge with built-in seating and sunpads arranged behind the stainless rail.
Amidships the main saloon connects directly to the water through a fold-down balcony set into the port bulwark, and aft the transom incorporates a garage that lowers to form a beach club with retractable steps leading into the sea.
Above, the flybridge sits beneath a large hardtop supported by angled pillars, and this deck combines an outdoor dining table, lounge seating, sun loungers and a Teppanyaki grill with a secondary helm positioned forward.
Interior Design
The interior by Zuccon International Project uses a restrained palette of beige, grey and cream paired with stained wood cabinetry, and the large windows running along the main deck bring constant light into the guest areas while maintaining clear views outside.
Aft, the main saloon opens through sliding glass doors to the cockpit while inside the seating is arranged around a central table and entertainment system, and a convertible dining table allows the room to shift between lounge and dining use.
Large side windows run almost the full length of the space and also allow the fold-out balcony to extend the room outward over the water when deployed.
Forward on the same deck sits the full-beam owner’s suite, where panoramic windows run along both sides of the cabin while a walk-in wardrobe and marble-finished bathroom sit behind the sleeping area.
Accommodation
Vauban accommodates eight guests across five cabins, with the owner’s suite positioned forward on the main deck while four additional guest cabins are arranged on the lower deck.
These lower cabins include two VIP doubles and two convertible twins, and each room has large windows or hull ports, television screens, storage space and an en suite bathroom finished in marble and glass.
Crew accommodation for seven is positioned separately, allowing service routes to run between the galley, bridge and exterior decks without passing through guest areas.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M96L) 16-cylinder 2,636hp engines, motor yacht Vauban is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
