90m Feadship Superyacht Milky Way Delivered Following Custom Build

Feadship has delivered the 90m custom superyacht Milky Way, completing a bespoke owner-led project that pairs elegant contemporary styling with one of the largest swimming pools ever installed aboard a Feadship.

Milky Way has been developed entirely as a custom project by Dutch shipyard Feadship. Featuring exterior design and naval architecture by De Voogt alongside interiors by RWD, the 2,623GT superyacht is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Delivered following sea trials in the North Sea, the yacht is currently moored in Amsterdam ahead of the start of her cruising programme.

A bespoke design shaped around the owner's lifestyle

Originally known as Project 828, Milky Way was commissioned for an owner seeking a yacht capable of adapting to very different styles of life on board. Rather than creating dedicated spaces for individual activities, the design centres on flexibility, allowing guests to move easily between relaxation, entertaining and active use throughout the day. De Voogt translated that brief into a refined exterior defined by a strong vertical bow, an unusually long foredeck and clean horizontal deck lines that create an elegant profile despite the yacht's substantial internal volume. The restrained styling allows proportion and balance to become the defining visual features, reflecting Feadship's contemporary approach to fully custom yacht design.

An extraordinary pool anchors the outdoor experience

Outdoor living revolves around a 16.7-metre main deck swimming pool measuring more than 50 square metres, making it one of the largest pools ever installed aboard a private Feadship. Commissioned by an owner with a passion for swimming, the pool forms the centrepiece of the exterior layout while surrounding deck spaces have been arranged to support everything from quiet family cruising to larger social occasions. Wide walkways, generous circulation areas and adaptable deck layouts further reinforce the owner's brief for a motor yacht capable of accommodating a wide variety of onboard lifestyles.

Contemporary interiors prioritise flexibility and connection

RWD developed an interior that complements the boat's disciplined exterior architecture through softer forms, flowing spaces and abundant natural light. Rather than treating each room as a separate destination, the layout encourages movement between living areas while large sections of glazing maintain uninterrupted views across the surrounding seascape. The 2,623GT (Gross Tonnes) interior volume provides generous circulation throughout, creating adaptable spaces that can comfortably support both private family life and larger gatherings without compromising the owner's emphasis on flexibility.

Engineered for confident long-distance cruising

Built with a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Milky Way has been engineered for extended cruising while complying with Lloyd's Register classification standards. The yacht completed sea trials in the North Sea following her June 2026 launch, marking the final stage before delivery. Beneath her elegant profile, the engineering platform has been developed to support long-range operation while providing the stability, reliability and comfort expected aboard a fully custom yacht approaching 90 metres.
