The two models, the Evene Origin 57 and Evene Origin 71, have been carefully measured for their carbon footprint from the moment materials are sourced to the point they leave the factory.
The study follows internationally recognized ISO14044 standards and was carried out in partnership with sustainability experts MarineShift360. According to the results, building the Origin 57 produces 17,840 kg of CO₂ emissions, roughly the same as the yearly energy use of seven homes. The larger Origin 71 comes in at 20,040 kg, or the equivalent of eight homes.
Evene has also published factory emissions data and plans to expand the study to cover how the boats perform over time and how recyclable they are at the end of their life.
New materials and smarter hulls help reduce impact
The Origin Series uses a range of eco-friendly materials and design features that help reduce environmental impact without compromising performance. One of the biggest changes is the use of cork instead of synthetic teak on the decks. Cork can reduce emissions by up to 129% compared to synthetic teak, indicating net carbon savings.

Inside the boat, the foam used in the structure is made from recycled plastic bottles instead of standard PVC, reducing CO₂ output by up to 32 percent. Upholstery backings are also made from 100 percent recycled PET bottles, cutting emissions by 12.5 kg per meter and keeping 6.2 kg of plastic waste out of landfills per meter.
Evene also worked with Swedish company Petestep to create more efficient hulls. These specially designed shapes reduce drag in the water and help cut fuel use by up to 15 percent at cruising speeds.

For owners who want to go even greener, Evene offers HVO 100 (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) as a fuel alternative. This can reduce net CO₂ emissions by up to 97 percent compared to standard marine diesel.
Sustainability at the core of future models
Evene is committed to making sustainability a long-term part of its boatbuilding approach. That includes choosing materials that are not only high-performing but also ethically sourced, recyclable, or reusable wherever possible.

Natural fibers and recycled components will feature more prominently in upcoming designs, and Evene is actively developing new propulsion systems, including electric and zero-emission options. The company is also improving its supply chain to ensure that every part of the boat, from the hull to the helm, meets high environmental standards.
“This assessment validates the progress we're making in reducing environmental impact and shows our commitment to building better boats for the future,” said Tom Dowdell, Head of Marketing at Evene Tenders. “It’s not just a sustainability initiative — it’s a new way of thinking about how tenders are built and used.”
Public debut at Cannes and Monaco
The Origin 57 and Origin 71 will be on display at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, with in-water demonstrations available at the Monaco Yacht Show. Evene Tenders is a sister company to Williams Jet Tenders and is focused on combining high-end craftsmanship with responsible, forward-thinking design.
First look at the Evene Origin series with YachtBuyer
YachtBuyer was the first to break the news of the Evene Tenders Origin Series and to film the debut walkthrough of the Origin 57 ahead of its public reveal. Shot in a dedicated studio, the exclusive tour features YachtBuyer Reviews Director Jack Haines in conversation with Evene’s Head of Product Development, Oliver Browne, as they walk through the tender’s key design choices and engineering highlights.
This early access offered an in-depth look at how the five-year development process behind the Origin Series has reimagined tender performance, guest comfort, and onboard practicality. Both the 5.70-meter Origin 57 and the 7.10-meter Origin 71 are designed for superyachts over 30 and 40 meters respectively, with seating for up to nine and eleven passengers.
The Origin Series marks a bold step forward in aligning luxury tender design with measurable sustainability goals. With transparent emissions data and smart material choices, Evene Tenders is redefining what eco-conscious performance can look like on the water.
