The Amels 80 will soon make its way to the Netherlands, where final outfitting is set to begin at the Damen Yachting yard in Vlissingen.
The launch celebrates months of detailed engineering and craftsmanship by the team in Galati, who have played a key role in bringing the fourth hull of the Amels yacht to life. With delivery scheduled for 2027, Amels 8004 is on track to become the latest iteration of the shipyard’s most successful 80-meter platform.
Building on the Success of the Amels 80 Series
Designed by Espen Øino with interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, Amels 8004 builds on the established features of the Amels 80 series. Her displacement steel hull and aluminum superstructure give her a gross tonnage of 2,175 GT, with a beam of 12.3 meters and a draft of 3.6 meters.

Like her sisterships, Amels 8004 incorporates a private owner’s deck measuring 517 square meters, a touch-and-go helipad on the bow, and a 200-square-meter sundeck with jacuzzi, bar, and lounge area. The main deck pool features a glass bottom, flooding the beach club below with natural light. Access to the beach club is enhanced by two fold-down terraces and a transom door, offering open-air connection to the sea.
Additional exterior amenities on board the yacht include a concealed tender garage beneath the foredeck, capable of storing tenders up to 11 meters, alongside an array of water toys.
Interiors Crafted for Calm Living
Sinot’s interior scheme for the Amels 80 range continues aboard Amels 8004, with a calm palette inspired by beach landscapes and island tones. Interior finishes on board the superyacht include natural stained oak, limestone, and bronzed metal accents, aiming to create a relaxed and elegant atmosphere across all decks.

The layout features floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the main deck saloon, a full wellness area with gym, sauna, hammam and massage room, and a private owner’s suite positioned forward on the upper deck. The suite offers 360-degree views, separate his-and-hers bathrooms and dressing rooms, and a private office. The elevator connects all decks, ensuring easy access between guest and service areas.

When used privately, the motor yacht will accommodate up to 14 guests across seven staterooms. In commercial configuration, the limit is 12 guests. A crew of 20 is provided for full service and operational support.
Engineering, Range, and Road to Delivery
Amels 8004 will be fitted with hybrid propulsion technology, supporting a top speed of 16.5 knots and a transoceanic range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. She will remain under construction at the Damen Yachting facility in Vlissingen through to her expected completion in 2027.

The Amels 80 series has seen consistent demand since its introduction, with Amels 8004 following three sisterships and receiving recognition in consecutive Yacht Style Awards across 2024 and 2025.
As outfitting begins, Amels 8004 continues the shipyard’s strategy of serial custom builds, offering owners the proven reliability of a platform design with scope for highly tailored interior and exterior solutions.
