Fifth Amels 80 Yacht Sold During Early Outfitting Phase

Damen Yachting has confirmed the sale of the fifth Amels 80 superyacht shortly after her arrival in Vlissingen in January, with delivery scheduled for Autumn 2027.

Designed with exterior styling by Espen Øino International, interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, and naval architecture by Damen Yachting, the Amels 80 continues to build on the shipyard’s established semi-custom platform.

The interiors, developed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, follow a calm and balanced design approach shaped around space, light, and a close connection to the surrounding seascape. Large windows across the main deck guest areas bring in panoramic views, reinforcing the sense of openness that defines the Amels yacht’s layout.

The motor yacht integrates a full suite of wellness facilities, including a gym, hammam, and sauna, creating a self-contained onboard environment suited to extended cruising. A 6.5-metre glass-bottom swimming pool also forms part of the interior-exterior experience, introducing natural light into the spaces below.

The exterior lines of the yacht by Espen Øino International maintain a strong, structured profile, consistent with the wider Amels Limited Editions range. The design focuses on usable outdoor space, with careful attention given to flow between decks and functional zoning. Central to this is the 200-square-metre sun deck, described as the largest in its class, which provides multiple areas for dining, lounging, and social use. A three-sided open beach club sits at the water’s edge, strengthening the connection to the sea and creating a flexible leisure space for guests.

The Amels 80 accommodates up to 14 guests across seven suites, with guest cabins positioned to maximize natural light and exterior views. The main deck hosts a number of these suites, benefiting from large windows and direct visual connection to the surrounding environment. The dedicated Owner’s Deck provides an additional level of privacy, separating the principal suite from guest areas and reinforcing the superyacht’s residential feel.

The Amels 80 is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system that enables the yacht to operate on electric power at lower speeds. This reduces noise and vibration, improving onboard comfort, particularly during slow cruising or at-anchor operation.

With a length overall of 80 metres and a gross tonnage of 2,175GT, the Amels 80 remains the largest model in the Limited Editions range. The sale of the fifth unit shortly after arrival in Vlissingen highlights sustained market interest, supported by a delivery model that pairs customization with a defined build framework.

The sale of this Amels 80 following her arrival in Vlissingen speaks to the enduring appeal of the Amels Limited Editions approach..."
