New Lazzara LPC 300 Catamaran to Attend Cannes Yachting Festival 2025

Stretching 21m in length and nearly 9m wide, the Lazzara LPC 300 will make its highly anticipated world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival.

The model, previously known as the LPC 70, has been renamed to highlight its expansive 300 square meters of interior and exterior living space. The catamaran was launched earlier this year at Lazzara Yachts' Antalya shipyard for a French owner.

Patented Engineering and Design

At the heart of the LPC 300 is Lazzara’s patented flat-deck architecture, which links the twin hulls with a full-beam lower deck. This design is the first of its kind in the catamaran segment, enabling layouts and spaces usually reserved for larger monohulls. The integrated sea chest system is another patented feature, removing the need for traditional through-hulls to simplify maintenance and enhance long-term reliability.

Built with E-glass and epoxy resin, the structure of the catamaran is engineered for rigidity and a high-quality finish that retains its appearance longer than standard gelcoat. Together, these design choices establish the LPC 300 as a technical standout among new multihull yachts.

The yacht delivers more than 3,200 square feet of usable space across its decks. On the main deck, a large salon sits aft of a dining space and an open atrium above the galley, designed to maximize natural light. Expansive glazing and sliding doors create a near-seamless transition between interior and exterior spaces, enhancing the yacht’s open feel.

The lower deck houses five staterooms, accommodating up to 10 guests. The master suite on board the motor yacht stretches the yacht’s beam and features a fold-out balcony, floating shelves, and private access to the beach club.

Four additional ensuite cabins complete the guest accommodation, while crew quarters are set forward with discreet service routes for a team of four.

Superyacht-Level Leisure Spaces

The exterior deck plan takes direct inspiration from larger superyachts. The flybridge is equipped with a spa pool, a Texas-style grill, a full cocktail bar, and a dining table for ten. Multiple lounging areas allow for both shaded relaxation and open-air entertaining.

The aft section of the lower deck forms the yacht’s defining leisure space. The beach club runs the full beam of the catamaran and includes oversized sunpads, a lounge area, and water-level access points. The master suite connects directly to this area, giving owners a private resort-like retreat that is unusual in yachts of this size.

Power is provided by twin Volvo Penta IPS engines, with options for 650 hp or 1350 hp. In its higher-powered configuration, the LPC 300 cruises at 16 knots and reaches a top speed of 21 knots, with a range of around 400 nautical miles. During initial sea trials, the model exceeded performance expectations, balancing efficiency with stability at speed.

Comparable Models Debuting Alongside the LPC 300

For buyers considering the new Lazzara LPC 300, three other world premieres at this year's CYF fall into a similar size bracket and offer distinct alternatives in style, layout, and performance.

The Arcadia A80, at 78 feet, presents the closest parallel in terms of space and guest capacity. Like the LPC 300, it accommodates up to ten guests in five cabins, but with a traditional monohull layout rather than a multihull platform. Its hallmark is seamless indoor-outdoor living, with extensive glazing and widebody volumes that emphasize natural light and connection to the sea.

The Ferretti 800 takes a more performance-driven approach. At 80 feet, it offers a faster planing hull capable of reaching 31 knots, making it appealing to buyers prioritizing speed over sheer volume. Guest accommodation is slightly less than the LPC 300, with four cabins for nine guests, but it delivers strong Italian styling and a large flybridge.

Closer in size, the Absolute 70 FLY mirrors the LPC 300’s length at just over 70 feet. While it accommodates fewer guests in four cabins, it emphasizes innovative features, such as a hydraulic bathing platform and sliding side doors that create alfresco dining options. It will interest buyers looking for flexible spaces in a more compact monohull package.
