Following its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2024, the Princess Sportbridge model is now heading to Queensland to headline Princess Yachts Australia's display.
Inside the Princess S65
The S65 offers a contemporary interior that emphasizes comfort, light, and functionality. The main deck saloon benefits from extensive glazing and an electrically operated sunroof, drawing natural light into the space and opening up views across the water.

A galley-aft layout enhances the social atmosphere, connecting the interior to the cockpit through a sliding door. This setup allows guests to move easily between indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting relaxed family cruising and effortless entertaining.

Accommodation onboard the motor yacht is provided for up to eight guests across four cabins, including a full-beam master suite located amidships. Interior styling is shaped by Princess’s in-house team in collaboration with Pininfarina, delivering a warm and clean-lined aesthetic with satin walnut finishes and soft neutral tones throughout.
Comfort On Deck
At 21m (67 feet 7 inches), the Princess S65 presents a dynamic exterior profile with a gently tapering sportbridge, long hull glazing, and sculpted surfaces that lend it a purposeful stance. The flybridge features adaptable seating and a sunpad forward with hidden storage beneath, alongside a compact helm and optional wetbar.

Down at water level, the hydraulic swim platform and tender garage reflect the practical credentials of the yacht, while the cockpit delivers both lounging and dining zones with U-shaped seating, a folding teak table, and a large sunpad above the garage. The bow area offers a secondary outdoor social space, complete with a forward sunbed and optional sunshade. Multiple layout and seating configurations are available to tailor the deck plan to individual cruising styles.

Equipped with twin MAN V12-1400 engines, the S65 Mk2 delivers a top speed of up to 36 knots. A planing GRP hull underpins its confident handling and responsiveness, whether navigating coastal passages or covering ground on longer runs. The yacht’s design prioritizes both agility and comfort at speed, ensuring a smooth ride in a variety of conditions.
A Proven Platform
Since the launch of the second generation in 2024, the Princess S65 has drawn widespread acclaim across the industry. It was a finalist in the 2025 Motor Boat Awards (Sportscruisers over 45ft), received a nomination in the European Powerboat of the Year awards (up to 24m category), and was shortlisted for the Yacht Style Awards 2025 in the 18–21m category. The design has also been praised for its well-balanced layout and considered execution.

Interest in the model has extended to both new-build and brokerage markets. According to YachtBuyer’s data, the introduction of the Mk2 has helped sharpen pricing on earlier models, while newer examples benefit from shorter time on the market and stronger buyer demand.
What Else to See from Princess at 2025 SCIBS
While the spotlight at Sanctuary Cove will be on the debut of the second-generation S65, Princess Yachts Australia is also showcasing a broad cross-section of its current portfolio.
Making a strong impression in the sportscruiser segment, the Princess V55 will appear alongside the S65. This 18m model is designed for open-air enjoyment, with three distinct deck lounges, a galley-aft main deck layout, and a vast electric sunroof that transforms the saloon into an indoor-outdoor space. Below deck, the V55 accommodates up to six guests in three cabins, including a full-beam master suite with a lounge area. With a top speed of 37 knots, it delivers the sharp dynamics the V Class is known for.

Also on display is the Princess F50, the shipyard's entry-level flybridge cruiser. At 16m, it features three cabins for up to six guests, including a full-beam master stateroom and flexible scissor-berth options forward. The flybridge and aft cockpit provide ample sociable space, making it a solid option for relaxed family cruising.

From the V Class again comes the Princess V40, the shipyard's smallest model in the lineup and one of its most popular. This compact 13m sportsboat offers a practical two-cabin layout, efficient sterndrive propulsion with speeds up to 36 knots, and an open cockpit beneath a sleek hardtop - making it an appealing choice for weekend adventures and day cruising.

Rounding out the line-up is the Princess V60, a now-discontinued but still sought-after model combining express cruiser looks with a three-cabin layout and a top speed of 38 knots. Its expansive saloon with retractable sunroof, full-beam master, and hydraulic swim platform show how Princess balances luxury and practicality even at pace.

Princess Yachts’ display at this year's SCIBS highlights the brand’s range and refinement, with the S65 leading a versatile lineup that integrates style, performance, and smart design across all sizes.
