RMK Yachts Revives 58m Orca 58 Superyacht Project with New Lagaria Design

Turkish builder RMK Yachts has relaunched the 58m Project Orca 58 superyacht with a bold new design by Lagaria Yacht Design & Architecture.

Officially unveiled at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the steel-built yacht reenters the market as a fully reimagined concept that merges proven engineering with contemporary styling. With her hull already completed, Orca 58 is available for sale and can be delivered within 24 months of contract signing.

A Reimagined Build

The Orca 58 began as an advanced steel hull constructed to RMK’s exacting technical standards, forming the foundation for what has become one of the most voluminous yachts in her class. With a 12-meter beam and an a gross tonnage of approximately 1,000 GT, she is around 30 percent larger than most yachts of similar length.

Director of RMK Yachts Cüneyt Okcu explained the shipyard’s decision to revive and rework the design rather than start anew. “We saw great potential in the original hull, a structure built with precision and integrity,” he said. “Rather than starting from scratch, we decided to honor that foundation and transform it into a new expression of our design philosophy, engineering capability, and vision for the future.”

The result is a yacht that preserves RMK’s craftsmanship while introducing a modern profile and enhanced livability. Her wide beam supports expansive guest spaces, while her steel hull and superstructure ensure durability for global cruising.

A Bold New Silhouette Shaped by Lagaria Yacht Design

Lagaria Yacht Design & Architecture has sculpted a silhouette defined by crisp geometry, deep glazing, and cascading terraces that draw the eye from bow to stern. The profile projects quiet strength balanced with refined proportion, establishing Orca 58 as both contemporary and enduring.

Large windows flood the interior of the yacht for sale with natural light, while the stepped aft design creates visual continuity across decks. This flowing arrangement delivers functional spaces that open toward the sea, forming a connection between interior comfort and the surrounding environment.

Adaptable Deck Design Optimized for Year-Round Cruising

The exterior decks have been designed for adaptable, year-round use. A 6-by-3-meter pool is set flush into the aft deck, framed by fold-down bulwarks that expand into a spacious beach club. The cascading terraces create tiered lounging areas leading to the water, encouraging relaxed outdoor living.

Each deck supports a distinct purpose: the foredeck as a morning retreat, the upper terraces for dining or evening gatherings, and the main deck aft as a resort-style social hub. Whether cruising the Mediterranean or the Caribbean, Orca 58’s proportions deliver both privacy and presence in port.

Bespoke Interiors Designed Around Modern Owner Priorities

Accommodation on board the motor yacht for sale is arranged for up to 12 guests across six staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite with panoramic views and spa-inspired amenities. Crew quarters for 13 ensure high service standards and discretion. Interiors will be tailored to the buyer’s preferences, with scope for a gym, cinema, spa, or sky lounge.

Natural materials and refined finishes define the design direction, with Lagaria’s architectural approach emphasizing calm tones, soft lighting, and tactile textures. The broad beam allows for generous corridors and open lounge areas rarely seen on a yacht of this size.

Built entirely in steel, Orca 58 is engineered for long-range cruising with a 5,000-nautical-mile range at 12 knots and a top speed of 15 knots. Her robust displacement hull and advanced naval architecture position her for transoceanic capability with comfort under way.

With the hull already complete, RMK Yachts can deliver the finished vessel within 24 months of contract signing - a significant advantage for clients seeking a bespoke project without the extended lead times typical of a full new build.
