Second-Generation Beneteau Gran Turismo 35 Yacht Set to Make Show Debut at BMYS 2026

The second-generation 11m Beneteau Gran Turismo 35 boat builds on the foundation of the original model, introducing refinements in design, onboard layout, and functionality as an updated version of the builder’s entry-level express cruiser, and is set to make its show debut later this year at the British Motor Yacht Show 2026.

Designed by Andreani Design with naval architecture by Michael Peters Yacht Design in collaboration with Beneteau, the new model builds on the original Gran Turismo 35 platform while introducing refinements in layout and exterior usability.

The interior of the motor yacht follows a contemporary design approach, combining clean lines with a neutral-toned palette and light wood finishes to create a cohesive onboard environment. The layout retains a single-cabin configuration for up to four guests, consistent with the first generation Gran Turismo 35, but introduces a more flexible arrangement, with a forward space that converts between seating and a double berth, alongside an aft cabin with twin berths that can also convert into a double. This configuration reflects a design focus on short stays and weekending, with the interior primarily positioned as a secondary space to the exterior social areas.

The exterior of the yacht builds on the original model’s emphasis on outdoor living, with the second-generation version placing greater focus on usable deck space informed by owner feedback. The cockpit is arranged as an open, continuous area from aft to helm, supporting ease of movement and social interaction, while adaptable seating allows the space to transition between dining and lounging. Hinge-down balconies on both sides expand the aft deck and increase usable space at anchor, while features such as flush cleats and integrated service points contribute to a clean and practical deck layout. The overall configuration reflects a shift towards prioritising exterior living space over interior volume.

Constructed from GRP, the Gran Turismo 35 features updated naval architecture. The model is powered by Mercury Verado engines, with options from 300hp to 400hp, supporting top speeds of over 40 knots and cruising speeds in the mid-20-knot range. This propulsion setup also simplifies onboard systems by removing the need for an internal engine room, increasing usable space across the vessel.
