Delivered in 2015 as Sibelle, the Heesen yacht features original exterior and interior design by Omega Architects, with naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, while her most recent interior refit was led by Hot Lab.
Bijin’s interior was comprehensively reworked during a nine-month refit completed in 2024-2025 at Monaco Marine, where Hot Lab introduced a calm Japandi-led concept. The approach draws on Japanese restraint and Scandinavian warmth, using pale woods, neutral fabrics, and tactile natural materials to give the yacht a lighter, more contemporary feel. Original teak features were retained and refreshed, including Rhodesian teak details that add warmth without visual weight.
The main saloon is arranged around flexible seating, supported by large windows that draw in natural light. A discreet service bar with refrigeration and ice maker supports informal entertaining, while the skylounge above provides a second social space with marble counters, leather-clad ceiling panels, and relaxed lounge seating. Throughout the yacht, bespoke lighting, new upholstery, and updated AV systems were introduced as part of the refit, alongside new smart televisions and technical upgrades that modernize daily use without altering the yacht’s original character.
Bijin has earned multiple industry awards between 2015 and 2016, including top honors at the World Superyacht Awards, ShowBoats Design Awards, and World Yachts Trophies.
Outdoor living is a defining feature on board the superyacht. Across three decks, Bijin provides approximately 237 square meters of exterior space, arranged for both relaxation and social use. The aft decks are sheltered and practical, while the sun deck offers open views, sun pads, a height-adjustable table, and a teppanyaki grill that supports casual dining.
Forward, tenders are stored on the foredeck and launched to open the area into a broad terrace, where fold-down bulwarks extend the usable space at anchor. A beach club with direct sea-level access completes the exterior layout, fitted with wellness facilities including a gym and sauna.
The motor yacht accommodates up to 10 guests in five staterooms. The full-beam owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck and spans approximately 61 square meters. It includes a private study, walk-in dressing areas, and separate his-and-hers en suite bathrooms that create a buffer between sleeping and circulation zones. Large windows bring in daylight, reinforcing the calm interior palette introduced during the refit.
On the lower deck, guest accommodation consists of two VIP doubles, one additional double, and one twin cabin, all with en suite bathrooms and updated entertainment systems. Crew accommodation is arranged for up to 10-11 crew, with dedicated service areas designed to support extended cruising and charter-style operation.
Built in aluminum to ABS class, Bijin has a gross tonnage of just under 500 GT, with a 9m beam and a draft of approximately 2.4-2.5m. She is powered by twin MTU diesel engines, delivering a comfortable cruising speed of 15 knots and a top speed of around 18.5-19 knots. Her Fast Displacement Hull Form supports efficient long-range operation, with a reported range of over 3,000 nautical miles at reduced cruising speeds. Stabilizers at anchor enhance onboard comfort, and the yacht is fully MCA compliant.
Bijin had a last known asking price of €29,500,000.
