Award-Winning Sanlorenzo 500 Explorer Yacht M Sold

The 47m motor yacht M has been sold, marking the handover of an award-winning 2024-built vessel. 

Delivered in 2024, M is a 47m Sanlorenzo 500Exp yacht with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. Sanlorenzo handled the naval architecture and exterior design, while Studio Indigo created the interiors. Supervised by Winterbothams, she was built for seaworthiness and versatility, with an award-winning specification.

Studio Indigo’s interior design on board the motor yacht pairs dark wood with cream tones to create a modern yet welcoming atmosphere. The main salon is arranged with two circular sofas, a central bar, and dining for ten, all framed by expansive windows.

Her exterior decks are designed for multifunctional use. The large aft deck serves as both a helipad and sun lounge, while fold-down platforms aft and starboard convert into a beach club with direct sea access. The sundeck on the yacht is arranged for relaxation, featuring a shaded bar, sun loungers, and a hot tub. Tender storage accommodates a 9-meter craft supported by a 7.5-ton crane.

On the upper deck, the skylounge reinforces indoor-outdoor living, opening through glass doors to an aft deck set for alfresco dining, a bar, and relaxed seating.

The superyacht accommodates up to 12 guests across five suites. The Owner’s stateroom on the main deck includes a private office and a fold-down balcony, while two VIP cabins and two twin cabins with Pullman berths are located on the lower deck. Crew quarters provide for nine.

Performance is central to her design, with twin Caterpillar engines delivering a cruising speed of 12.5 knots, a maximum speed of 15 knots, and a 4,300-nautical-mile range. With a 9.6-meter beam and 2.75-meter draft, she balances volume with global cruising capability. This explorer yacht quipped with at-anchor and underway stabilizers, she also holds ABS classification and Cayman Islands flag registration.

M has received recognition across the industry, winning her size category at the 2025 World Superyacht Awards and earning finalist status for Best Interior Design at the 2025 Boat International Design & Innovation Awards. She remains under warranty, is commercially registered, and compliant with IMO Tier III emissions standards.
