$1M Price Reduction on 65m Superyacht Adamas V

The 65m superyacht Adamas V has received a $1,000,000 price reduction and, according to YachtBuyer Market Watch, is currently asking $15,500,000.

Delivered in 1987 and refitted in 2023, Adamas V was designed by Sanzio Nicolini with interiors by Claudio Zampetti and later refreshed by Giorgio Vafiadis. She remains the flagship of the Italian shipyard Cantieri Navali Nicolini.

Originally designed by Claudio Zampetti, spaces on board the motor yacht for sale were carefully refreshed during a major refit in 2023 led by Giorgio Vafiadis, who introduced upgraded systems and enhanced detailing. The main saloon is particularly striking, offering multiple seating arrangements, two dining tables, and an adjoining entertainment room fitted with a smart television and surround sound.

Commissioned by the Emir of Qatar and originally delivered as Al Menwar, she was intended as a royal yacht, which explains her stately lines and generous deck layouts.

Recent works have kept her exterior equally up to date. A key element of the 2023 refit was the redesign of her sundeck, now home to a six-person Jacuzzi, a wet bar, and ample loungers for relaxation. Guests can also enjoy al fresco dining on the main deck aft or sheltered lounge seating on the upper deck aft.

Adamas V accommodates up to 12 guests in a thoughtful arrangement that maximizes both space and privacy. The 130-square-meter owner’s suite occupies a prime position on the main deck, complete with a private saloon, walk-in dressing room, and a king-sized bed. An adjoining 50-square-meter VIP suite adds to the sense of exclusivity.

Built with a steel hull and measuring 986 gross tons, Adamas V was conceived for long-range cruising and remains capable of global voyages. She famously completed a two-year circumnavigation, supported by her 5,200-nautical-mile range. Power comes from twin 4,175hp MTU diesel engines, giving her a comfortable cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum of 20 knots.
