First Custom Line Navetta 35 Motor Yacht Launched Following Strong Pre-Launch Sales

The first 35m Custom Line Navetta 35 superyacht has entered the water at Ferretti Group's Superyacht Yard in Ancona, marking the debut of the Italian builder's latest displacement model.

Launched on May 28 during a ceremony attended by the owner's team, project partners, shipyard staff, and designers, the first Custom Line Navetta 35 arrives with strong market momentum already behind it. According to Custom Line, three units had been sold before the launch of the first hull, underlining early demand for the new model.

A Layout Built Around Space and Natural Light

Stretching across three decks, the Navetta 35 has been designed around openness, visibility, and a closer connection to the surrounding seascape. The yacht offers more than 300 square meters of interior and exterior living space, arranged around large social areas and private retreat spaces. Accommodation is provided for up to 10 guests in five cabins, with a full-beam owner's suite positioned on the main deck and four guest cabins located below.

A major design priority was maximizing natural light throughout the vessel. Extensive floor-to-ceiling glazing creates uninterrupted sightlines to the water, while the yacht's architecture has been developed to reduce visual barriers between interior and exterior spaces.

One of the most notable layout decisions is the removal of a traditional aft exterior staircase on the main deck. This frees additional deck space and allows the cockpit to function as a larger social hub, creating a more flexible environment for entertaining and relaxation.

Soft Tones and Tailored Interiors

Inside the motor yacht, ACPV ARCHITECTS developed a bespoke "Light Mood" interior scheme based on the owner's preferences. The palette centers on ivory, beige, and caramel tones, paired with pale timber flooring, sand-colored leather detailing, and Pietra di Vicenza stone. The result is a calm and understated aesthetic that prioritizes warmth and comfort over visual complexity.

Furniture designed by Antonio Citterio reinforces this approach, with raised freestanding pieces creating a lighter visual appearance throughout the interior. Curved forms and organic geometries feature prominently across the yacht's living areas, while carefully positioned glazing keeps the surrounding sea visible from almost every space onboard.

Filippo Salvetti's Latest Navetta Design

From the outside, the Navetta 35 adopts a restrained profile characterized by balanced proportions, clean lines, and sculpted surfaces. Salvetti's exterior design avoids excessive visual weight, instead emphasizing long horizontal sightlines and strong connections between the superyacht's interior spaces and surrounding decks.

The emphasis on transparency extends beyond the glazing itself. Architectural elements throughout the yacht have been positioned to maximize views and daylight penetration from bow to stern, helping create a stronger sense of openness than typically found in yachts of similar dimensions.

A Growing Fleet Under Construction

According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the world's largest yacht database, the Italian builder currently has 37 yachts either in build or on order across its range, highlighting sustained demand across both its planing and displacement series.

Among the most compact models currently in production is the 50m Custom Line 50, a 50m superyacht capable of accommodating up to 12 guests. At the larger end of the fleet sits the 40m Custom Line Saetta 128', formerly known as the Custom Line 125, offering accommodation for 10 guests across five cabins and speeds exceeding 22 knots.

The displacement range continues to attract particular attention through the award-winning Custom Line Navetta 38. Measuring 38.76 meters, the model accommodates up to 12 guests and has earned multiple international accolades, including wins at the 2025 Boat International Design & Innovation Awards and the 2025 International Superyacht Society Awards.

With three Navetta 35 units already sold and a healthy order book stretching across multiple product lines, the latest launch adds another milestone to what remains one of the busiest build programs in the semi-custom superyacht sector.
