First Look: Inside the 29m AB 95 superyacht by AB Yachts

AB Yachts, part of Next Yacht Group, has released a new set of images showcasing its latest high-performance model, the AB Yachts AB 95.

The yacht, developed in collaboration with Italian design studio Archea Associati, made its debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival and now offers a clearer look at its interiors and exterior lines.

Design Evolution From AB 110 to AB 95

The fresh images reveal how the AB 95 builds on the legacy of the AB 110 while introducing a more architectural approach to exterior design. Archea Associati’s influence is evident in the yacht’s bold, dynamic profile, defined by a reverse-angled bridge windshield that expands the flybridge into what the shipyard describes as a “belvedere suspended above the sea.”

The photography of the new motor yacht highlights the symmetry that runs throughout the design, from twin staircases aft leading up and down, to a fluid sense of balance in circulation between decks.

Minimal Yet Warm Interior Style

The new interior images underline the design focus on light and openness. Across the three decks, large windows ensure continuous connection with the sea, while materials such as teak parquet flooring and Italian leather are paired with integrated LED strips and light-toned ceilings. The result is a minimal yet warm style that balances refinement with the yacht’s performance identity.

A key detail revealed is the main deck’s black-lacquered galley, integrated into the saloon and doubling as a cocktail bar. This layout innovation on board the yacht frees up space on the lower deck for an additional guest suite. Teak surfaces flow through the interiors, complemented by soft-shaped furnishings and staircases that reinforce the sense of fluidity between spaces.

Aft Beach Club and Garage in Focus

Viewed from the outside, the AB 95 presents a strong, sporty stance yet retains a serene atmosphere. The new imagery emphasizes how the aft beach area flows directly into the sea, while also accommodating a garage suitable for a 4.5-meter tender and a Jet Ski.

On deck, carbon staircases frame the cockpit and lead up to the sundeck, where the open-air terrace becomes one of the yacht’s defining features.

Flybridge as a Social and Scenic Retreat

Perhaps the most iconic view presented in the new imagery is of the flybridge, where the yacht’s reverse-glass windshield not only shapes the external profile but defines a spacious sundeck.

Accessed from the aft cockpit via two carbon staircases, the terrace opens above the waterline as a social hub, providing unobstructed views and a distinct architectural statement.

Full-Beam Suites and Flexible Twin Layouts

The lower deck photographs of the superyacht showcase accommodation across four cabins: two full-beam suites and two twins with sliding, foldaway beds. Bathrooms are finished with ribbed wooden cabinetry, creating a textured three-dimensional effect that adds depth to the otherwise minimal style. Crew quarters for four are also positioned on this deck.

Twin teak staircases sit at the center of the layout, anchoring both the design aesthetic and the functional circulation.

Performance in Focus

Beyond design, the AB 95 stays true to AB Yachts’ reputation for speed and engineering. The yacht is powered by three MAN V12 engines producing 2,000 horsepower each, paired with MJP waterjets - two steerable and one central booster. Together, they deliver a top speed of 50 knots and a cruising speed of 45 knots. Even at these speeds, the yacht maintains quiet operation and minimal vibration, supported by a Seakeeper 26 stabilisation system for enhanced comfort underway.

For AB Yachts, the AB 95 represents a statement of intent - a model that merges architectural precision with extreme engineering and a high-performance profile. The release of these new images underlines how the design prioritizes balance between speed, style, and livability. As Marco Casamonti of Archea Associati explained, the project represents “a synthesis of the past, present and future of our nautical vision.”
