New Sunseeker 86 Ocean Enclosed Motor Yacht Unveiled at Cannes Yachting Festival 2026

Sunseeker has unveiled the new 86 Ocean Enclosed at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, introducing a 26.17m motor yacht built around an enclosed upper deck and flexible cruising layouts.

Joining the expanding Sunseeker Ocean range, the new model measures 6.56m across the beam and introduces a fully enclosed upper level incorporating both the wheelhouse and an additional interior living area.

Revealed during Sunseeker's global press conference on the opening day of the show, the new model arrives as the company sets out a broader design direction under CEO Scott Millar.

What Makes the Sunseeker 86 Ocean Enclosed Different?

The defining feature of the 86 Ocean Enclosed is its fully enclosed upper deck, which houses the wheelhouse and Sky Lounge within the same protected level.

Panoramic glazing gives the space extensive views while allowing it to function as an all-weather lounge away from the main deck. Owners of the yacht can use it for passage-making, planning a cruising itinerary or entertaining guests without relying on an exposed flybridge. Outside, the forward section takes cues from the working practicality of a Portuguese bridge. Further aft, owners can specify seating and sunbathing arrangements, with an optional spa tub among the available configurations.

The format supports the Ocean Series' increasing focus on longer stays aboard and greater protection from the elements, while retaining substantial open deck areas.

Large areas of glazing surround the main deck, giving the saloon a near-360-degree outlook and bringing considerably more natural light into the interior.

Sunseeker has deliberately limited fixed furniture in several areas, leaving greater scope for owners to determine how the flybridge yacht is used. Predominantly single-level flooring also simplifies movement through the principal guest spaces. Layout options include an open-plan galley suited to more social use, while owners looking for clearer separation between guests and crew can choose a more conventional arrangement.

[The 86 Ocean Enclosed] is a yacht designed to stop conversations wherever she arrives and redefine expectations of what is possible in this category."

That flexibility extends to the accommodation. Sunseeker states that the motor yacht sleeps eight guests across four cabins, with an optional main-deck owner's suite available. Other layouts can retain the owner's stateroom on the lower deck, where a full-beam cabin can sit alongside VIP and additional guest accommodation.

Sunseeker 86 Ocean Enclosed Reaches Up to 26 Knots

The Sunseeker 86 Ocean Enclosed measures 26.17m long and 6.56m across the beam, with a stated draft of 1.31m and displacement of 84,550kg. Two engine packages are listed, using either twin MAN V8-1300 units or twin MAN V12-1650 engines driving conventional shafts. Maximum speed is stated at up to 26 knots.

Fuel capacity is 8,500 liters, while freshwater capacity stands at 1,700 liters. Sunseeker has not yet published a cruising range for the new model.

Sunseeker Reveals 45M Superyacht and New Models at Cannes 2026

The 86 Ocean Enclosed formed part of a much broader series of announcements made by Sunseeker at Cannes.

The builder also revealed the first images of its new Sunseeker 45M Superyacht, a roughly 440GT semi-displacement design with exterior styling by Sunseeker and interiors by Vickers Studio. The superyacht will offer five guest staterooms with a sixth available as an option, accommodation for nine crew and a transverse tender garage. A signed Letter of Intent has already been secured from an existing Sunseeker customer, with construction of the first yacht scheduled to begin in Q3 2027 ahead of delivery in Q2 2029.

At the other end of the current product program, Sunseeker used Cannes for the global debut of the 28.60m Manhattan 94. The five-cabin flagship carries up to ten guests and is distinguished by a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck.

Sunseeker has also announced a next-generation Manhattan 80, reviving a name last used around three decades ago. The new five-cabin model is scheduled for delivery in 2029, although full dimensions, performance figures and deck plans have yet to be released.

Together, the announcements give the 86 Ocean Enclosed a clear role within Sunseeker's developing lineup. Predator remains focused on performance, Manhattan on conventional flybridge cruising and the Sunseeker Superyacht division on larger owner-led projects. Ocean is being positioned around exploration, onboard space and longer periods away from shore, with the enclosed upper deck becoming a central part of that proposition.
