The Nimbus Sport Coupé 35 expands the Sport Cruiser 35 series, sharing its hull platform with the two existing models. Designed as a Coupé from the outset, it pairs enclosed accommodation for year-round cruising with versatile outdoor spaces suited to swimming, fishing and time at anchor.
Sport Cruiser hull underpins the new model
The sports yacht uses the air-lubricated, twin-stepped hull developed for the 35 series, with a sharp bow section and deeper V aft. Vacuum-infused in one piece around a Divinycell core, the structure is designed to balance stiffness and low weight, while the superstructure follows a similar approach by reducing the number of individual components used for the saloon, cabin sides and galley.
Sidewalk layout creates more space inside
Nimbus has incorporated its asymmetric Sidewalk layout, with a wider starboard side deck providing a clear route between the aft deck and foredeck. Raising the deck to port releases additional space inside for a larger saloon and greater headroom when accessing the mid cabin, while a side door beside the helm gives the driver direct access outside when docking. Above, sliding glass roof hatches open the saloon to the sky, with further fixed glazing extending over the aft deck.
Saloon designed for travelling and overnight stays
At the centre of the enclosed interior is a dinette that changes according to how the boat is being used, with its forward sofa able to face ahead while underway before converting into a lounge or additional bed. The yacht's galley is incorporated into the saloon and includes a gas or electric hob, double sink and integrated storage. Below deck, the accommodation comprises a forward cabin with a double berth, a mid cabin and a separate head with shower, providing the facilities required for longer stays aboard.
Foredeck and aft deck adapt throughout the day
Outdoor living is split between two contrasting areas. Up to eight people can sit around the foredeck table, with cushions and sunbeds transforming the space from a practical working deck into a lounging area, while the more sheltered aft deck centres around an adaptable L-shaped sofa for five or six guests. A folding side balcony extends the aft area towards the water, and an integrated canopy can enclose the cockpit when conditions change.
Outboard and inboard propulsion available
Nimbus will offer the motor yacht with a choice of Mercury outboard or Volvo Penta inboard propulsion. Outboard configurations comprise a single Mercury V10 or twin V8 300 engines, while buyers preferring an inboard installation can select a Volvo Penta D6, which is paired with a larger bathing platform and additional storage. Full specifications are due to be announced when the boat makes its world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf in January 2027.
The Sport Cruiser 35 series expands
The Sport Coupé 35 becomes the third member of Nimbus' Sport Cruiser 35 series alongside the Sport Tender 35 and Sport Weekender 35. The Sport Tender made its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2026 and has since been nominated for European Powerboat of the Year 2027 in the 10m to 14m category, with the winner due to be announced during Boot Düsseldorf 2027.
