Next-Gen Ferretti 800 Yacht to Make US Debut at 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show

The next-generation Ferretti 800 will make its US debut at the 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show, following its world premiere in Europe last season.

Designed by Filippo Salvetti with interiors by Ideaeitalia and naval architecture developed by the Ferretti Group Engineering Department and Product Strategy Committee chaired by Piero Ferrari, the 24m Ferretti flybridge yacht represents a key step in the brand’s updated model lineup.

Launched in July 2025 at the Cattolica shipyard, the Ferretti 800 completes the stylistic renewal of Ferretti Yachts’ Flybridge Range, introducing updated exterior lines, a redesigned flybridge layout, and interiors focused on space and natural light.

A Flybridge Designed for Entertaining

Outdoor areas form a central part of the Ferretti 800’s layout. The aft cockpit measures around 15 square meters and is protected by the flybridge overhang, creating a shaded dining area with direct access to the beach platform. A glass parapet along the stern improves sightlines toward the water and reinforces the connection between the cockpit and the swim platform.

The flybridge is the largest open-air deck on board the flybridge yacht, covering approximately 40 square meters. It features a dining area to starboard with a table and integrated seating, a bar unit to port, and an upper helm station positioned forward with clear visibility. The aft portion of the deck remains open for loose furniture, giving owners the flexibility to configure the area for sun loungers, additional seating, or entertainment.

At the transom, a seven-square-meter beach area incorporates a fold-down sofa designed for close contact with the sea. This section of the yacht functions as a relaxed waterside lounge, expanding usable space when the yacht is at anchor.

A second outdoor lounge sits on the foredeck, where a C-shaped sofa faces forward alongside a large sunbed, creating a more private relaxation area away from the main social spaces.

A Bright Main Deck with Clear Circulation

Inside, the Ferretti 800 places strong emphasis on natural light and clear circulation between guest and crew areas. Large windows run along both sides of the main salon of the yacht, bringing in daylight and opening views across the surrounding water.

The first hull is finished in Ferretti’s Classic interior mood, characterized by warm earthy tones and natural textures. The main salon includes a corner sofa facing a storage unit with a concealed slide-out television, while the dining area sits forward in the same open-plan space.

Ceiling heights reach two meters throughout the main deck, enhancing the sense of volume. The galley connects to the dining area through a sliding wall section that can be opened or closed depending on how the owner intends to use the space.

Four-Cabin Layout with Full-Beam Master Suite

Accommodation on the lower deck consists of four cabins with private en suite bathrooms. The layout centers around a full-beam master suite located amidships, which benefits from the motor yacht’s widest point and reduced motion while underway.

Forward of the master suite sits a VIP cabin, while two twin guest cabins are positioned between them. These twin cabins use sliding beds that convert them into doubles, giving owners greater flexibility when hosting different guest groups. In total, the Ferretti 800 can host up to nine guests across the four cabins.

Planing Performance with MAN Power

The Ferretti 800 is built with a GRP hull and superstructure and features a planing hull form designed for fast cruising. The yacht measures 24.47 meters in overall length with a beam of 5.91 meters and a gross tonnage of approximately 85 GT.

Standard propulsion comes from twin MAN V12 engines producing 1,550 horsepower each. This configuration delivers a top speed of around 27 knots and a cruising speed of approximately 15 knots. Owners seeking higher performance can opt for upgraded MAN V12 engines rated at 1,800 horsepower.

A New Generation of the Ferretti 800

The new Ferretti 800 updates a model name previously used for the first-generation Ferretti 800, which was produced between 2010 and 2016. That earlier yacht measured slightly longer at 24.71 meters and accommodated up to eight guests.

The current generation retains the same four-cabin arrangement but introduces revised styling, a redesigned flybridge layout, and improved interior proportions. The result is a yacht that builds on the heritage of the earlier series while aligning the model with the rest of Ferretti’s modern fleet.

Following its European debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival and Genoa in 2025, the upcoming appearance at the 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show will mark the first opportunity for US audiences to step on board the latest addition to Ferretti Yachts’ flybridge range.

A Mid-Range Step in Ferretti’s Flybridge Family

The Ferretti 800 enters the range between three clearly defined models, each aimed at a slightly different type of owner. Just below it, the 24m Ferretti 780 brings the brand’s familiar formula into a slightly smaller package, with streamlined design, sleek lines, sharp styling, and extensive glazed surfaces in the hull that give it a sportier look.

The 27m Ferretti 860 takes a more substantial step in scale and presence. Described in our in-depth YachtBuyer review as a yacht with superyacht confidence, it pairs four double cabins with a big tender garage, high-quality engineering, and gutsy performance of up to 32 knots.

Further on again, the 29m Ferretti 940 shifts the brief more decisively toward space and cruising comfort. Slotting just below the flagship Ferretti 1000, it introduces a wide-body layout, raised pilothouse helm, and a standard five-cabin arrangement for up to 10 guests.

For buyers not ready to move to the scale, crew setup, and added volume of the 860 - or further still to the wide-body, raised-pilothouse Ferretti 940 - the 800 looks well judged. It delivers the sportier look, social flybridge, and warm, inviting interior expected of a modern Ferretti, while staying within a size bracket that remains approachable for owner-use cruising.
