More Details

The 29.26m motor yacht Aman was delivered to her owners in 2017 by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Francesco Paszkowski Design, while Sanlorenzo is responsible for her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • Rotating flybridge louvers
  • Full-height salon glazing
  • Full-beam owner’s suite
  • Twin MTU 2,216hp engines

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.75m beam and a 1.95m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 104 GT (Gross Tonnes).

She was delivered to her owners in February 2017.

Exterior Design

The Sanlorenzo SL96 Asymmetric motor yacht Aman takes the familiar SL96 profile and reshapes it around Sanlorenzo’s asymmetric layout concept. Designed in collaboration between Chris Bangle and Zuccon International Project, the yacht removes the traditional port-side deck on the main level to create more internal volume and broader views from the salon, while still keeping the balanced proportions of a classic motor yacht.

The profile stays low and streamlined with long horizontal glazing lines stretching almost the full length of the superstructure. Full-height windows dominate the main deck and pull natural light deep into the interior spaces, while also reducing the visual bulk of the yacht. The raised pilothouse steps gently upward into the flybridge structure, helping the yacht keep a sporty, fast-looking stance despite carrying three distinct deck levels.

One of the defining exterior features is the electronically lowering port-side bulwark. At anchor, the section folds down to open the salon directly toward the sea and create a near full-height panoramic opening. Underway, the bulwark closes flush into the hull side to preserve the yacht’s clean lines.

Outdoor spaces are arranged around relaxed social use. The foredeck lounge has sunpads and seating protected by high side rails, while the aft cockpit connects naturally to the salon through large sliding glass doors. Up above, the flybridge uses an integrated hardtop with rotating louvers to control light and shade across the dining and lounge areas. The yacht also carries an outdoor cinema setup, gym equipment, Seabobs, paddleboards, inflatables and additional water toys for time at anchor.

Interior Design

Inside, Aman follows a restrained modern style by Francesco Paszkowski, built around clean forms, natural materials and broad open spaces. The atmosphere feels calm and architectural rather than decorative, with much of the detail coming from texture and material treatment instead of strong contrast or heavy ornament.

Bleached and planed oak covers the bulkheads, while the furniture uses a softer “fabric essence” timber finish that gives the wood a more tactile appearance. Large sections of glazing surround the main salon and bring strong daylight into the living spaces throughout the day.

The main deck lounge sits separately from the dining area, divided by the staircase block and day head to create a more private relaxation space aft. This arrangement gives the salon a quieter atmosphere while still allowing the deck to feel visually open from end to end.

Accommodation

Aman offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 2 cabins that can operate as twins or doubles. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000M 84) 12-cylinder 2,216hp engines, motor yacht Aman is capable of reaching a top speed of 28 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots. With her 11,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 400 nautical miles at 22 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
