Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.43m beam and a 2.85m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 495 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the fifth yacht built on the 44X-Space design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in June 2025.

Exterior Design

The 44X-Space arrived as Sanlorenzo's answer to one of the fastest-growing parts of the superyacht market. By the time the model was introduced, buyers could choose from a growing number of explorer yachts that offered long range and serious capability, but many carried the purposeful look of commercial ships. Sanlorenzo took a different path. The 44X-Space blends the volume and autonomy of an explorer with the clean lines and understated style of an Italian navetta, creating a yacht that feels more like a floating waterfront home than a converted workboat.

Designed by Zuccon International Project, Amorcito carries that philosophy through every part of her profile. A strong, upright bow and high freeboard hint at her long-range credentials, while long horizontal bands of glazing soften the yacht's height and visually stretch the hull. Rather than exposing cranes, tender handling gear or heavy equipment, the design conceals almost every working element behind clean architectural lines. The result is a yacht that delivers almost 495GT of internal volume without looking top heavy.

The five-deck arrangement is central to that achievement. By moving the wheelhouse and captain's cabin onto the bridge deck, Sanlorenzo freed an entire deck below for the owner's private apartment. This creates a genuine "yacht within a yacht", with the owner's suite, office, private lounge and a secluded foredeck complete with its own plunge pool separated from the main guest accommodation below.

Glass plays a much greater role than on most explorer yachts of this size. Floor-to-ceiling windows replace much of the traditional superstructure, while full-height glazing and openable sections blur the boundary between the interior and the sea. Even the guest cabins benefit from oversized windows rather than conventional portholes, filling the accommodation with natural light.

Aft, the 44X-Space shifts away from expedition yacht convention altogether. The open terrace centres on an 18sqm (194sqft) swimming pool, while fold-down bulwarks extend the beam by creating overwater balconies on either side. Together they transform the stern into a waterside living area of around 120sqm (1,292sqft), with direct access between the beach club and the main saloon. Rather than treating the aft deck as a working space, Amorcito gives it over almost entirely to life by the water, underlining the different direction Sanlorenzo took with the X-Space concept.
