Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.7m beam and a 2.26m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 175 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fourteenth yacht built on the 100' Corsaro design. She was delivered to her owners in June 2019.
Exterior Design
No Stress 888 is the 14th hull in Riva’s 100' Corsaro series, delivered in 2019 with exterior design by Officina Italiana Design. At 29.9m (98.1ft), she takes the long, sharp proportions associated with Riva’s sportier yachts and stretches them over a full flybridge layout.
The bow carries a pronounced point and a long run of teak ahead of the superstructure, while dark glazing cuts deeply into both the hull and upper works. The profile stays relatively low for a yacht with three substantial guest levels, and the aft sections step down cleanly rather than building a large wall of superstructure over the stern.
That low visual weight is important because No Stress 888 has 175GT of internal volume. The main-deck owner’s suite, four lower-deck guest cabins and full flybridge all need considerable space, but the long glazing bands and tapering superstructure stop the yacht from looking heavy.
Outdoor areas are spread across three distinct zones. The foredeck has sunpads and a separate seating area, the aft cockpit provides sheltered dining beside the saloon, and the flybridge carries the largest open social space with lounge seating, a bar and room for dining.
The stern adds another useful layer. The tender garage opens directly onto the hydraulic swim platform, so once the tender is launched the same area can work as a compact beach club rather than remaining dedicated machinery and storage space.
Interior Design
No Stress 888’s interior was also designed by Officina Italiana Design, with warm timber joinery set against white upholstery, polished surfaces and large areas of glazing.
The main saloon is particularly light for a yacht with such a sleek exterior profile. Long windows run down both sides, while reflective material overhead helps carry natural light further into the room. The darker timber then gives the space enough contrast that it does not feel clinically pale.
Lounge and dining share the main deck in one open arrangement. The seating sits aft, with formal dining further forward, while sliding glass doors open directly onto the cockpit. That keeps the main social deck simple and easy to use, without a procession of separate rooms.
The interior also benefits from the yacht’s 6.7m (22ft) beam. The saloon has enough width for generous furniture without pinching the central route through the room, and the large side windows keep the sea in view from both lounge and dining areas.
The styling is recognisably Riva, but this is not just a scaled-up sportsboat interior. The darker cabinetry, polished details and more formal accommodation give No Stress 888 the weight expected of a 175GT yacht.
Accommodation
No Stress 888 accommodates ten guests in five cabins.
The owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck, which is one of the more important features of the Corsaro 100 layout. It gives the owner more privacy from the lower guest deck and places the cabin well away from the machinery aft.
Four further guest cabins are located below, comprising two VIPs, one additional double and one twin. All five guest cabins are en suite.
That distribution works well because the full lower deck can be organised around guest accommodation while the owner retains a separate main-deck suite. It also avoids forcing a full-beam master beside the engine room, which is still common on faster yachts around this length.
Separate quarters are provided for up to five crew, keeping the working side of the yacht apart from the main guest accommodation.
Performance & Capabilities
No Stress 888 uses a planing GRP hull developed by the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
Twin MTU diesels produce a combined 4,000hp, giving a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of around 19 knots.
Fuel capacity is 9,000 litres, with a quoted range of 320 nautical miles at 23 knots.
Those numbers make the yacht’s priorities quite clear. No Stress 888 is built to cover Mediterranean distances quickly rather than spend days running at displacement speeds. The 28-knot maximum also sits neatly with the rest of the design, which gives Riva’s faster, sharper character to a yacht carrying a full main-deck owner’s suite and five-cabin layout.
