Nyx is a 96'9" expedition yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche in 2013. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Hydro Tec S.r.l..
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 24'5" beam and a 9' draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 229 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Darwin 96 design. Launched in March 2013 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2013.
Accommodation
Nyx offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (2000 M72) 965hp engines, motor yacht Nyx is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 11,095 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht and an inviting spread of sunpads.
