Raph Seven is a 36.92m motor yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo in 2023. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Zuccon International Project, while Sanlorenzo is responsible for her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • Asymmetrical widebody salon layout
  • 27-knot semi-displacement performance
  • 45sqm (484sqft) foldout beach club
  • Low-profile aerodynamic flybridge

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.6m beam and a 2.25m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 280 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Launched in March 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2023.

Exterior Design

The 36.58m (120ft) Sanlorenzo SL120 Asymmetric Raph Seven carries the sharp, layered profile that defines the SL120A series, but the asymmetrical layout gives the yacht a noticeably different stance from a conventional flybridge model. The portside main deck walkway disappears into the interior volume, allowing the salon to extend full beam while a single protected starboard side deck handles circulation forward.

Bernardo Zuccon’s exterior design leans heavily on horizontal tension lines and dark glazing bands. The long black glass strip that runs through the superstructure visually lowers the yacht while tying the decks together into one continuous shape. The upper deck overhangs create deep shadows beneath the flybridge and emphasize the “living horizon” idea Sanlorenzo developed for the model.

From the profile image, the SL120A’s aggressive bow shape stands out immediately. The stem sits almost vertical before sweeping back into a low foredeck with minimal interruption from deck hardware. Stainless rails stay slim and low profile, so the clean bodywork remains dominant. The glazing around the wheelhouse wraps deeply into the superstructure and gives the bridge a dark visor-like appearance.

The asymmetry becomes clearer aft. On the port side, the salon glazing drops closer to the waterline because there is no external walkway interrupting the volume. A lowering bulwark section opens this side of the salon directly toward the sea, creating a terrace effect that visually expands the interior outward.

Aft, the beach club arrangement forms one of the yacht’s strongest features. The transom folds down into a broad swim platform while the side terraces open outward, creating a wide waterfront area around the tender garage. The photographs show how the staircases descend symmetrically from the aft cockpit to the platform while the garage itself opens directly onto the water.

The flybridge keeps a low aerodynamic shape rather than adopting a bulky upper-deck structure. The hardtop floats above slender supports and integrates cleanly into the mast assembly. Open slats in the roof provide adjustable shade while preserving airflow across the deck. Furniture placement remains loose and adaptable, with open lounging areas aft and helm controls positioned forward beneath the hardtop.

Forward, the owner’s private bow lounge spans two levels. The upper section includes sunpads and seating while steps descend toward a lower foredeck terrace closer to the water. From above, the arrangement feels almost residential in the way it breaks the foredeck into separate outdoor zones rather than a single uninterrupted sunpad area.

Interior Design

Raph Seven’s interior follows a warm contemporary style with strong contrasts between glossy dark surfaces, pale fabrics and heavily figured amber-toned stone panels.

Without the portside exterior walkway cutting through the layout, the main salon stretches almost full beam and gains noticeably more usable floor space than a traditional side-deck arrangement would allow. Large sliding glass doors aft and full-height side glazing pull light deep into the room.

Zuccon’s interior styling mixes soft residential furniture with reflective finishes and sculptural detailing. Cream sofas and rounded armchairs soften the darker lacquered wall panels while mirror sections and polished surfaces bounce natural light through the space. The illuminated amber stone features add warmth and become focal points throughout the yacht.

The salon furniture arrangement stays low and open to preserve outward views. Rather than heavy partitions, the interior relies on subtle zoning through lighting changes, cabinetry placement and ceiling treatments. Slim black-framed windows reinforce the connection to the sea while sheer curtains soften direct light without closing the room off.

The dining area continues the same visual language with curved cabinetry, integrated lighting strips and reflective finishes. The detailing has a distinctly Italian feel, but avoids excessive ornament. Even the vanity and desk spaces use flowing shapes rather than angular forms.

Lighting plays a major role throughout the yacht. Warm concealed strips sit within ceiling recesses and beneath furniture bases, giving the interior a floating effect at night. Table lamps with layered metallic bases repeat the yacht’s contrast between soft furnishings and reflective surfaces.

At the bridge, dark instrumentation panels, wraparound glazing and sharply angled consoles create a much more technical environment. The forward visibility appears expansive thanks to the steeply raked windshield and low dashboard design.

Accommodation

Raph Seven accommodates up to 10 guests across five suites while also carrying accommodation for up to seven crew members.

The layout includes a master suite, three double cabins and one additional guest cabin. The asymmetrical architecture benefits the owner’s spaces in particular because the extra interior beam created by the missing portside deck adds width to the accommodation areas.

Large windows remain a defining feature throughout the guest areas. The cabins use oversized glazing and reflective surfaces to maximize natural light while maintaining strong visual contact with the water outside.

The guest cabins continue the same warm contemporary styling seen in the main salon. Dark lacquered joinery contrasts with pale carpeting and upholstery while integrated lighting beneath beds and cabinetry softens the spaces visually. The stateroom shown in the brochure combines curved furniture edges, bronze-toned detailing and floor-to-ceiling window treatments to create a calm, hotel-like atmosphere.

Bathrooms use pale stone basins, mirrored walls and glossy cabinetry finishes. The long double vanity arrangement visible in the owner’s bathroom emphasizes width and symmetry while reflecting light throughout the room.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M96L) 16-cylinder 2,636hp engines, motor yacht Raph Seven is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
