First 31m Lazzara UHV 100 Superyacht Launched With 225GT Volume and Wide-Beam Design

Lazzara Yachts has launched the first Lazzara UHV 100 superyacht, bringing a 30.5-meter model to the water that centers on volume, layout efficiency, and engineering reliability within the 100-foot category.

Built in-house, the Lazzara UHV 100 yacht uses aerospace-grade composite construction, selected for its strength-to-weight characteristics and structural efficiency.

First unveiled as part of the yard’s expanding ultra-high-volume range, the new model builds on the earlier UHV 87, introduced at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2022. Both platforms are defined by a design approach that prioritizes interior space and usability, supported by a distinctive exterior profile that creates the impression of an additional deck through trompe l’oeil styling.

Rethinking Space in the 100-Foot Segment

With a gross tonnage of 225GT, the UHV 100 delivers a level of internal volume more often associated with significantly larger yachts. The layout includes approximately 260 square meters of interior space and 125 square meters of exterior deck areas, supported by a 7.4-meter beam that underpins its wide-body configuration.

The design centers on practical, usable space rather than purely visual impact. Across its five-stateroom layout, the yacht accommodates up to 10 guests, with a full-beam owner’s suite positioned on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck. Crew quarters support a staff of five.

With over 4,000 sq. ft. of total space, five staterooms, and expansive decks designed for real use (not just aesthetics), the UHV 100 leans into what owners actually want: room to move, room to host, room to unwind."

Interior styling follows a restrained direction, with dark wood finishes, neutral-toned furnishings, and selective use of color through soft furnishings and artwork. The arrangement places emphasis on flow between living areas, with the upper deck configured around a large pilothouse and a full-beam skylounge that opens directly onto an outdoor dining and lounge space. The first interior renderings of the 31m motor yacht Lazzara UHV 100 were released in February of 2025.

Exterior Zones Shaped by Function and Flow

Outdoor areas are structured around social use and direct water access. The aft deck connects cleanly to the swim platform, forming a continuous zone for boarding and waterside activity. Forward, the foredeck is arranged as a dedicated relaxation space, featuring a six-person dip pool integrated into a lounge setting.

This foredeck pool marks a clear point of distinction within the range, setting the UHV 100 apart from smaller models. Across all decks, the layout of the superyacht prioritizes clear circulation and defined zones for dining, lounging, and sun exposure.

The exterior design maintains a low, layered profile, with glazing and structural lines used to enhance the perception of scale. This visual strategy supports the broader aim of delivering a larger-yacht experience within a 30-meter platform.

Built Around Redundancy and Operational Confidence

Beyond spatial considerations, the UHV 100 places a strong focus on onboard systems and operational reliability. According to the yard, full system redundancy is built into the platform, alongside integrated engineering solutions intended to support consistent performance and ease of maintenance.

This approach is positioned as a core part of the motor yacht’s design rather than an optional upgrade, aligning with a broader shift toward reliability and long-term usability in this size range.

Performance figures reflect a balance between efficiency and capability. Powered by twin 1,000hp Volvo Penta D13 engines, the yacht reaches a top speed of around 16 knots and offers a range of approximately 1,100 nautical miles at an eight-knot cruising speed. A draft of 1.8 meters supports access to shallow cruising grounds, including regions such as the Bahamas and Caribbean.

Looking Ahead - The LMY 165 Flagship

Alongside the UHV series, Lazzara Yachts has introduced a new flagship concept within its Lazzara Motor Yacht line. The 50-meter Lazzara LMY 165 brings a different technical direction, centered on a patented sea chest system that consolidates seawater intake and discharge into a single integrated hull structure. This reduces the number of hull penetrations while improving access for maintenance.

The yacht is designed with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, with a layout shaped by large-format glazing and an emphasis on internal volume and natural light. Outdoor areas focus on water-level living, with a beach club that expands through fold-out terraces and a pool positioned at the aft main deck. Accommodation is planned for 12 guests across six staterooms.

With a projected top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, the LMY 165 sits firmly in the displacement category, marking a shift toward longer-range cruising and larger-scale onboard spaces as the yard continues to develop its portfolio.
