The latest Ocean Alexander 32L yacht features in-house naval architecture by Ocean Alexander, alongside interior and exterior design by Evan K Marshall.
The interior of the 32L has been shaped around a more residential approach, with a focus on warmth, comfort, and day-to-day livability. Natural materials are used throughout to soften the overall look and feel of the yacht, moving away from more formal superyacht styling toward something closer to a private home on the water.
This direction is reinforced through Ocean Alexander’s collaboration with Poltrona Frau, whose selected sofas and chairs introduce a layer of craftsmanship and familiarity often associated with high-end residential interiors.
The motor yacht’s exterior spaces are arranged to maximize usability, with open deck areas that support a range of activities, from dining to relaxation. Circulation has been carefully considered, with crew movement separated where possible to maintain privacy for guests.
Ocean Alexander has also drawn on design strategies more commonly seen on larger yachts, particularly in the way deck spaces are scaled and connected. This results in a layout that feels closer to that of a significantly larger vessel, despite the yacht’s 32-meter length.
Accommodation on board the superyacht is arranged for up to 10 guests across five staterooms. The standout feature is the on-deck owner’s cabin, positioned to function as a private retreat with direct access to exterior areas and elevated views. Guest cabins are located on the lower deck, each designed to maintain consistency in finish and comfort. The emphasis remains on space and practicality, with layouts that support longer stays rather than short-term cruising alone.
The Ocean Alexander 32L measures 106 feet 7 inches (32.5 meters) in length, with a beam of 23 feet 2 inches, placing it firmly within the upper end of the production motor yacht segment. Power comes from twin MAN V12 engines, each producing 1,900 horsepower.
The sale itself followed an unconventional but effective process. Rather than a traditional boat show introduction, the yacht was presented directly to the client aboard their existing 92-foot vessel using a detailed digital walkthrough. That single meeting proved decisive, with the buyer moving forward shortly afterward.
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, Ocean Alexander currently has 31 yachts either in build or on order.
