Developed in collaboration with Italian designer Giorgio M. Cassetta and naval architect Andrea Agrusta, the Ocean Alexander series now spans 30 to 40 meters and will be presented in full at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2026.
Completing a Three-Yacht Concept
The arrival of the Ocean Alexander 30P and Ocean Alexander 40P marks the completion of a design program first outlined with the launch of the 35P in March 2024. That model established the direction of the series, which has now been carried across three distinct platforms rather than scaled variations of a single design.
According to Ocean Alexander, the intention from the outset was to create a cohesive family of yachts with a clear identity. The finished lineup now presents that concept in full, with each model tailored to its size while maintaining a consistent design language.
From the beginning, the ambition was to create more than a single model. We wanted to build a family of yachts with a clear identity, one that speaks to owners around the world who value beauty, craftsmanship, and true capability.”

Johnny Chueh, president of the shipyard, described the milestone as a defining point for the brand, noting that the ambition extended beyond a single model to a complete series built around shared values of craftsmanship, capability, and long-term design clarity.
Design Continuity from 30m to 40m
The Puro Series has been shaped by a restrained approach to styling, with an emphasis on clean lines, balanced proportions, and carefully considered onboard spaces. Rather than following short-term trends, the design of the yachts focuses on clarity and usability, with layouts intended to feel composed and intuitive.
This philosophy carries across all three yachts, though each has been developed independently. The 30P translates the concept into a more compact and versatile format, positioned as the most accessible entry point into the series. The Ocean Alexander 35P remains central to the lineup as the original reference point, while the 40P extends the same design principles into a larger flagship platform with increased volume and presence.
Dan Mundy, head of global operations at Ocean Alexander, said the three superyachts share a common approach to comfort and usability, while retaining individual characteristics shaped by their scale.
Beyond Simple Scaling
A key point in the development of the Ocean Alexander Puro Series is that each yacht has been resolved as a standalone design. The yard has avoided simply enlarging or reducing a single platform, instead treating each model as a separate project aligned to a shared vision.
This approach is evident in the proportions, deck arrangements, and overall presence of each yacht. While the visual identity remains consistent, the experience on board is adjusted to suit the size and intended use of each model.
The result is a lineup that offers three distinct options within the same design framework - one focused on versatility, one on balance, and one on scale.
Styling and Engineering in Step
The collaboration between Cassetta and Agrusta underpins the series, pairing exterior styling with a naval architecture platform intended to support performance, comfort, and seaworthiness without drawing attention away from the overall design.
Cassetta described the completed series as a fully realized design narrative, with each motor yacht contributing to a broader visual and spatial language. His focus on proportion and restraint is evident across the lineup, with each element designed to feel intentional rather than decorative.
Agrusta, founder of NavalHEAD, emphasized the role of naval architecture as a supporting framework. His work across the series has focused on ensuring that performance and onboard comfort align with the design intent, creating a consistent experience across all three models.
The unveiling comes at a time of steady activity for the shipyard, with multiple projects in build and a growing presence in the global superyacht market. According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, Ocean Alexander currently has a substantial order book, reflecting continued demand across its range.
