Delivered in 2016, Casa is a 27.3m motor yacht for sale built by Italian shipyard Wally. Her naval architecture and interior design comes from the drawing boards of Wally, while Luca Bassani Design is responsible for her exterior design.
Key Features
- Terrace connected owner’s cabin
- Foredeck pool and sunpads
- Full-height glass saloon
- 130m² exterior deck space
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.8m beam and a 1.8m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 117 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fourth yacht built on the 27 wallyace design.
Exterior Design
Casa is a 27.3m (89.8ft) Wallyace with a wide 7.75m (25.4ft) beam, and the profile leans into Wally’s clean, low, almost architectural style. The hull sides are smooth and unbroken while the superstructure uses long bands of dark glazing, so the yacht reads as one continuous volume rather than stacked decks.
The layout follows an inside-outside approach, and the decks are arranged to keep movement simple while keeping sightlines open. The foredeck works as a social cockpit with a built-in pool and sunpads, so it becomes a proper living area rather than spare space. Up top, the sundeck adds dining, lounging, and a BBQ, and it spreads out enough to feel separate from the main deck activity.
At the stern, the design shifts focus. The swim platform sits low to the water and links directly to the owner’s terrace, and this creates a strong connection between the yacht and the sea. The overall exterior space runs to around 130-140m² (1,399-1,507ft²), so for a 27m yacht, there is a clear emphasis on usable outdoor volume.
Interior Design
The main saloon sits inside a near full-height glass structure, and that gives a loft-style feel with wide views on both sides. Light fills the space throughout the day, while the layout keeps things open, so the dining area for eight sits naturally within the same volume as the lounge.
The connection to the outside remains a constant theme. Large windows run almost the full length of the saloon, and sliding elements open parts of the yacht to the air, so the interior never feels closed off from the surroundings.
Accommodation
Casa accommodates up to seven guests across four cabins, and the layout includes two doubles, one twin, and two additional berths. Each cabin has its own en suite, and the finish follows the same clean, modern style as the main deck.
The owner’s suite is the key space. Positioned aft on the lower deck, it opens directly onto the swim platform through large sliding glass doors, so it gains its own private terrace at water level. This setup brings in light and air while also giving direct access to the sea.
Crew accommodation supports up to four, and it is arranged to keep service separate from guest areas.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C12) 345hp engines, motor yacht Casa is capable of reaching a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 15,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,800 nautical miles at 10 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
