Convict is a 29.9m motor yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Riva in 2020. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Officina Italiana Design, while Ferretti Group Engineering Department is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.7m beam and a 2.26m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 171 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the fifteenth yacht built on the 100' Corsaro design. She was delivered to her owners in October 2020.

Exterior Design

Convict is a Riva 100 Corsaro measuring 29.9m (98ft), and the profile leans hard into Riva’s sharp, low-slung styling. The bow runs long and pointed, with a strong forward rake that gives the yacht its fast, arrow-like stance, while the superstructure sits low and stretched, so the whole silhouette is clean and aggressive.

A continuous band of dark glass wraps the main deck, linking the saloon visually to the sea, while large hull windows sit lower down with integrated portholes for the guest cabins. The contrast between metallic grey surfaces and black detailing adds depth and keeps the lines crisp.

Aft, the transom opens to form a broad beach platform, so the stern becomes a proper water-level space rather than just an access point. Steps lead up to the aft cockpit, which is arranged for dining and lounging, and flows directly into the saloon through wide sliding doors.

The flybridge sits under a hardtop with an opening section, and it carries a bar, dining area and sunpads. The structure is supported cleanly, so sightlines remain open across the deck. Forward, the bow is set up as a recessed lounge with C-shaped seating and sunpads, separated from the working foredeck, which keeps the space usable at anchor.

Interior Design

The interior follows a restrained, modern layout with strong horizontal lines and a clear link to the exterior glazing. Large side windows bring in steady light across the main saloon, and the space runs long from aft lounge to forward dining without interruption. The finish uses dark panels against lighter flooring and soft furnishings, so contrast replaces decoration. Built-in cabinetry runs along the sides, keeping the walkways clear, while the seating stays low and wide to match the proportions of the room. Lighting is integrated into the ceiling in linear strips, so the space remains evenly lit without visible fixtures.

Accommodation

Superyacht Convict accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, with space for up to 5 crew.

The main deck carries a full-beam owner’s suite, positioned forward with large side windows, so it benefits from the same glazing that defines the exterior.

On the lower deck, two VIP cabins, one double cabin and one twin cabin complete the layout. Each cabin includes an en suite, and the arrangement supports a mix of family use and guest groups without overlap. Crew quarters sit separately, so service remains discreet.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M96L) 2,600hp engines running at 2450rpm, motor yacht Convict is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 24 knots. With her 9,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 310 nautical miles at 23 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
