H3 is a multi-award winning 105.26m motor yacht delivered by Dutch shipyard Oceanco in 2000. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of The A Group, while Mark Berryman Design is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
H3 is one of the most ambitious superyacht rebuilds ever undertaken. Originally delivered by Oceanco in 2000, the yacht returned to the Dutch shipyard in 2020 for a three-year reconstruction that went far beyond a conventional refit. Lengthened by 11m (36ft), stripped back to her hull and rebuilt with an entirely new exterior and interior by Reymond Langton Design, she re-emerged in 2023 as H3, bearing little resemblance to the yacht that first left the yard over two decades earlier.
Designed around a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, H3 measures 105.26m (345.4ft) with a beam of 14.78m (48.5ft) and a draft of 4.6m (15.1ft). She is arranged across six decks and offers an internal volume of 3,521GT, placing her among the largest yachts ever built by Oceanco.
The rebuild extended far beyond styling. Alongside the new decks and guest spaces, Oceanco replaced the propulsion system, electrical infrastructure, hotel services and much of the onboard engineering, effectively bringing the yacht up to modern new-build standards while retaining the proven hull platform. H3 remains classed by Lloyd's Register and was rebuilt to meet contemporary technical and environmental requirements.
Exterior Design
H3 looks like a modern Oceanco because, in many ways, she is. Although her steel hull dates back to 2000, the three-year rebuild completed in 2023 transformed almost everything above the waterline. The project stretched the yacht to 105.3m (345.4ft), added 11m (36ft) of overall length and introduced an entirely new exterior by Reymond Langton Design. Only the underlying platform hints at her past life as Al Mirqab and Indian Empress.
The rebuild replaces the angular styling of the original yacht with softer, flowing forms that make six decks appear surprisingly light. Continuous bands of dark glazing visually connect each level, while rounded deck edges soften the yacht's height and create the impression of broad terraces stacked one above another. The effect is especially striking from astern, where each deck opens onto the next without feeling crowded despite H3's substantial 3,521GT volume.
That extra 11m (36ft) was put to good use. Around 8m (26ft) was added aft, creating enough room for one of the largest outdoor entertainment areas on any yacht of this size. The centrepiece is a 6.9m x 3.5m swimming pool with a hoistable mosaic floor that can disappear flush with the deck when owners want to host larger gatherings. Wide terraces surround the pool before broad staircases lead down to an equally generous beach club and hydraulic swim platform, giving guests several levels that step naturally towards the water.
Outdoor living continues across almost every deck. The owner's deck combines open-air lounges with formal dining, while the bridge deck provides another large entertaining terrace. Above, the sundeck centres around a forward whirlpool, bar and shaded seating areas, with uninterrupted views over the bow. A touch-and-go helipad rated for an Airbus H155 sits forward, while tenders, Jet Skis and deck equipment remain carefully hidden to preserve the yacht's clean profile.
Interior Design
Reymond Langton Design approached the interior with the same philosophy as the exterior. Rather than creating rooms filled with decoration, the design relies on calm proportions, carefully controlled lighting and exceptionally high-quality materials. Limed oak, walnut, pale stone, leather and brushed metals create a warm palette that feels more like a contemporary luxury residence than a traditional superyacht.
Natural light plays a major part throughout the yacht. Floor-to-ceiling glazing wraps the guest areas, while slim structural mullions keep views open across every main deck. Large windows also help connect the interior with the generous outdoor terraces, making spaces feel even larger than their already impressive dimensions.
Technology has been woven into the architecture rather than simply added afterwards. The welcome lounge flows into the main saloon through twin 15m digital video walls that can display custom artwork, moving scenery or entertainment, turning what would normally be a circulation space into one of the yacht's signature features. Elsewhere, Crestron-controlled entertainment systems, Kaleidescape media servers and integrated audio are available throughout the guest areas.
Beyond the principal living areas, H3 includes spaces more often associated with private estates than yachts. A dedicated owner's lounge sits alongside a formal dining room and wine cellar, while the lower deck houses a full wellness suite with a hammam, massage room, beauty salon and hair salon. Forward on the sundeck, the fully equipped gym enjoys panoramic glazing across the bow, making it one of the brightest and most impressive fitness spaces afloat.
Accommodation
H3 takes 12 fewer guests than the yacht did when she was Indian Empress despite adding the 11m during the refit. This has resulted in generous guest quarters with a total of six comfortable staterooms for guests on the main deck. Accommodation is provided for up to 20 guests. The interior is tastefully designed with light woods, leather, and subtle metallic touches, creating a welcoming ambiance. State-of-the-art entertainment systems and en-suite facilities are in place to ensure guest comfort and convenience.
On the owner's deck, two versatile cabins offer adaptability to meet guest needs, enhancing the flexibility and personalization of the living space. The yacht also includes an impressive VIP suite with a private aft terrace, providing a retreat comparable to owner accommodations on smaller superyachts.
Following the refit, the number of professional crew onboard increased from 31 to 38. This carefully considered crew-to-guest ratio guarantees a first-class service. The crew accommodation has also been enhanced, with additional high-quality crew cabins and improved facilities, including a new laundry.
Performance & Capabilities
The engineering work carried out during H3's rebuild was every bit as comprehensive as the changes above deck. Her original propulsion system was replaced with twin 2,880kW MTU 16V4000 M73L engines, supported by four Scania generators, entirely new electrical systems and modern emissions technology. Rather than chasing outright speed, the redesign focused on efficiency, reliability and long-range cruising.
H3 reaches a top speed of 18 knots, cruises comfortably at 14 knots and offers an impressive 6,000 nautical mile range at that speed. Reducing speed to 12 knots extends the range to around 7,500 nautical miles, giving her genuine transoceanic capability without compromising guest comfort.
The technical specification matches the scale of the yacht. Quantum XT zero-speed stabilisers improve comfort both underway and at anchor, while powerful bow and foldable azimuth stern thrusters make handling considerably easier despite her 105m (345.4ft) length. New HVAC, water treatment, hydraulic and navigation systems were all installed during the rebuild, effectively bringing the yacht's engineering up to contemporary new-build standards.
Leisure & Entertainment
H3 was designed around entertaining on a very large scale. Multiple aft decks provide separate lounges, bars and dining spaces, allowing different groups to enjoy the yacht without competing for the same areas. The owner's winter garden and dining room can host gatherings of up to 32 guests, while the outdoor cinema transforms the aft deck into an evening entertainment venue beneath the stars.
The yacht also carries an exceptional collection of tenders and toys. Two custom Compass limousine and sport tenders are joined by two rescue tenders, four Sea-Doo GTX Jet Skis, four Seabobs, Fliteboards, kayaks, paddleboards, inflatable water parks and dive equipment, giving guests enough equipment to keep large charter groups active throughout extended cruises.
Wellness
Wellness occupies an entire section of H3 rather than being limited to a single spa room. The lower deck combines a hammam, massage room, beauty salon and hair salon into a dedicated retreat, while the forward-facing gym on the sundeck takes advantage of full-height glazing and sweeping sea views that make it feel more like a luxury penthouse than a fitness suite.
Outside, the large swimming pool, whirlpool spa and expansive beach club provide several places to relax beside the water. The hydraulic swim platform and floating sea pool further extend the yacht's connection with the sea when at anchor.
