Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 40'8" beam and a 11'4" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,571 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2022 with the keel laid under the project name 'Sakura'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in April 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

Feadship 827 measures 71.76 metres (235.4ft) and presents a sleek, contemporary profile shaped by Studio De Voogt. Her raked bow and low bulwarks contribute to an elegant and purposeful silhouette, while balanced proportions from bow to stern give her a quiet, assured presence. Constructed with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, she combines strength and stability with a lighter upper structure. Teak decks throughout add natural warmth, underfoot safety, and visual refinement.

The yacht is built across five decks, with outdoor areas designed to encourage easy flow between relaxation, dining, and sunbathing. A standout feature is the extended sundeck forward, which hosts a bar, dining space, and a glass-sided jacuzzi built into the tiered steps leading to a generous sunpad zone, shaded by a hardtop. A sculptural white dolphin-fin radar mast adds a refined technical accent to her streamlined aesthetic.

The foredeck jacuzzi provides a private, elevated spot for quiet soaking, while the main deck aft serves as the yacht’s social hub. Here, an expansive outdoor space is centred around a 7.00-metre (23ft) pool, bordered by sun loungers. Teak-clad stadium steps cascade down to the swim platform, shaping a distinctive profile and creating a seamless link to the water.

Interior Design

Inside, Feadship 827 adopts a minimalist and natural interior aesthetic developed by FM Architettura d’Interni. Inspired by Scandinavian and Japanese design influences, the layout favours light-filled spaces, clean lines, and tactile materials. Light, earthy tones and carefully chosen finishes underscore the sense of calm throughout. The concept follows the “Japandi” approach, with an emphasis on harmony, simplicity, and functionality.

At the heart of the interior is a floating walnut staircase, positioned against a softly illuminated marble feature wall in the foyer. This thoughtful pairing sets the tone for the yacht’s interiors, which are shaped as much by what is left out as by what is included. Full-height glass on the main deck and owner's deck maximises natural light and strengthens the visual link to the sea.

The main saloon opens directly onto the expansive aft deck and features large windows that bring in daylight and ocean views, helping to create a continuous sense of connection between interior and exterior spaces. Beneath the aft deck, a dedicated wellness area sits close to the waterline, steps from the swim platform and easily accessed by all guests.

A hidden wellness suite can also be revealed at the touch of a button elsewhere on board, expanding the options for relaxation and fitness. Each space flows naturally into the next, with the flexibility to suit both quiet family time and more social moments.

Accommodation

Feadship 827 accommodates up to 14 guests across seven suites. All guest accommodation is located on the main deck, a configuration that benefits from larger windows and increased headroom, creating a greater sense of space. The layout includes four guest staterooms and two VIP suites, both of which can be joined to create a single full-beam suite if required. This setup offers practical flexibility, particularly for multi-generational cruising.

A rare feature for a yacht of this size is the fully dedicated owner’s deck. Thanks to the raised pilothouse design, the owner's suite enjoys uninterrupted privacy and panoramic views through wrap-around glass. The suite includes direct access to a private breakfast area and its own hot tub, creating a personal haven within the wider yacht.

Feadship 827 also carries accommodation for up to 18 crew, with layout and access carefully planned to support discreet, efficient service while maintaining guest privacy.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel-electric MTU (16V 2000 M41B) 16-cylinder 1,247hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Feadship 827 is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 34,342 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.
