Emerging from the Royal Van Lent facility in Kaag, the custom vessel marks a major milestone in a project that has remained under tight wraps since its inception in 2021.
A Private Build From Start to Finish
Originally ordered in 2021, Feadship 824 only became visible to the public in September 2023, when her hull and superstructure were joined at the NMC facility before being moved stern-first through the Dutch canal network. The yacht’s broad 13.6-meter beam required careful coordination, with tug crews rotating the hull so the bow led the way, ensuring the wider aft sections could pass cleanly through the narrow waterways.

Following 20 months of outfitting, the yacht emerged from the shed and hit the water in May 2025. She is now expected to undergo sea trials ahead of delivery later this year.
Engineering Behind the Profile
The yacht is built around a steel displacement hull with an aluminum superstructure, constructed to Lloyd’s Register technical standards. Her naval architecture was developed in-house by De Voogt Naval Architects, while the exterior was shaped by Finnish designer Jarkko Jämsén, known for his work with Aivan studio.

With a gross tonnage of 3,000GT, Feadship 824 offers significant internal volume and a layout tailored for large-scale entertaining and private cruising. Her design features a near-vertical bow that flares subtly to a wide foredeck, while clean hull lines and a restrained use of glazing emphasize balance and proportion.
One of her most distinctive exterior elements is the long, descending aft section, which sweeps down to an extended bathing platform. This area is connected to the lower deck by a broad single staircase and flanked by hull-integrated balconies that serve as tender garages or expand the beach club footprint.
Shaped for Outdoor Living
Outdoor spaces have been configured for a blend of privacy and sociability. A sheltered lounging area sits beneath the overhang of the upper deck just aft of the foredeck, while multiple decks provide alfresco dining and open relaxation zones.
Aft, the cascading staircase and oversized swim platform create a dramatic visual flow from the upper decks to the waterline. A large main deck pool is among several leisure features, alongside a sun deck, Jacuzzi, and beach club.

The yacht is outfitted with a full suite of amenities designed to support long stays on board. Highlights include a gym, spa, sauna, and owner’s study, in addition to a deck Jacuzzi and expansive lounging areas. Stabilizers, both at anchor and underway, ensure comfort at sea.
Additional equipment includes a bow thruster, underwater lighting, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a full tender garage. The yacht is powered by twin diesel-electric engines driving twin screw propellers.
Project 824 in Context
The launch of Feadship 824 adds to a packed 2025 delivery schedule from the Dutch shipyard, which also includes the 120m Breakthrough, the 101m Moonrise, and the 76m One.
Breakthrough—the largest yacht ever built in the Netherlands at launch—pushes technical boundaries with its hydrogen fuel cell system and a remarkable 7,247 GT of interior volume. Her 8.2-meter infinity pool, Nemo lounge, and family-focused owner’s deck underscore her role as both a design and sustainability benchmark.

Moonrise, meanwhile, follows the lineage of her 2020 predecessor, also named Moonrise, with a refined take on exterior styling by De Voogt and a 4,000 GT interior by Rémi Tessier. She features a dedicated owner's deck, cinema, and upgraded technical systems, including enhanced connectivity and seakeeping capabilities. She is currently for sale with Edmiston & Company with a price upon request.

At the other end of the scale, One delivers a more compact interpretation of Feadship’s signature style, balancing masculine exterior lines with a warm, tactile interior by Gilles & Boissier. With a GT of 1,750, the yacht for sale prioritizes wellness and family-friendly outdoor spaces, including a glass-floored pool, beach club, and bridge deck gym.

One is listed for sale on YachtBuyer and is currently asking €172,500,000.
Viewed alongside these builds, Feadship 824 represents a continuation of the yard’s focus on tailored craftsmanship, understated luxury, and technical precision. While the specifics of her layout remain confidential, her emergence rounds out one of Feadship’s most ambitious years to date in terms of variety, volume, and vision.
