Delivered in 1996 and refitted in 2023, she features interior and exterior design by Winch Design with naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects, built by Feadship.
Olympus is defined by a highly distinctive interior scheme centered on walnut and gold detailing, a theme carried consistently throughout all guest spaces. The main salon of the yacht is arranged as a formal yet comfortable living area, with custom furniture grouped around a central conversation zone and finished with walnut paneling and marble surfaces. Forward, the dining saloon seats up to 14 guests around an oval table with carefully matched grain, framed by ebony and holly detailing.
At the 1997 International Superyacht Society Awards, Olympus was recognized as Best Power Yacht over 43 meters.
One of the most striking interior features is the entrance hall, where double plate glass doors open into a walnut-lined space dominated by a four-deck stairwell and lift. This vertical circulation core is treated as a design feature in its own right, finished with a mural inspired by Matisse that traces a visual journey from seabed to sky. On the bridge deck, the upper saloon serves as a flexible social space with a Yamaha Disklavier piano, integrated audio-visual systems, and the option to become part of a private owner or VIP apartment.
The exterior layout of the motor yacht places a strong emphasis on guest security and privacy. Side decks do not pass directly outside accommodation areas, resulting in a split circulation arrangement between the main deck aft and bridge deck forward.
The sundeck is a central highlight, fitted with a large spa pool, sunpads, and a shaded U-shaped bar. Aft, the boat deck houses multiple tenders and can be cleared to function as a touch-and-go helipad, with a rated capacity suitable for aircraft such as an EC135.
Accommodation is arranged for up to 16 guests across eight cabins, anchored by a full-beam master suite forward on the main deck. This suite includes a private observation lounge, owner’s study, walk-in wardrobe, and his-and-hers bathrooms, with panoramic views forward and to either side. The bedchamber can be closed off independently, enabling discreet crew access to peripheral rooms.
Guest accommodation continues on the lower deck with two double cabins fitted with Pullman berths, two twin cabins, and two single cabins suited to children or staff. Each cabin is finished in rich materials consistent with the rest of the yacht and benefits from its own marble-appointed bathroom.
Olympus is powered by twin 2,600hp Caterpillar 3516DI-TA diesel engines, delivering a top speed of 17.5 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of around 11.5 knots. With fuel capacity exceeding 103,000 liters, she offers a transatlantic range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles at economic speed. A notable technical feature is her in-house developed bowthruster system, which reduces noise levels by around 40 percent through the use of air nozzles around the impeller.
Olympus had a last known asking price of €19,750,000.
