Formerly known as Project Vento, the 88m superyacht Angelique is a 2,550GT flagship designed inside and out by H2 Yacht Design, with naval architecture by Turquoise Yachts. Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the five-deck yacht features a private owner’s deck, glass-sided swimming pool, drive-in tender dock and dedicated wellness facilities.
Turkey’s largest superyacht marks a milestone for Turquoise Yachts
The delivery of Angelique represents a defining achievement for Turquoise Yachts, the project reflects the yard’s continued expansion into the upper end of the global superyacht market, combining large-volume engineering with a highly customised owner-focused platform. Formerly known throughout construction as Project Vento, the yacht has been developed for both private use and luxury charter operations, reinforcing Turquoise’s growing presence within the competitive 80m-plus sector.
H2 Yacht Design combines timeless proportions with contemporary detailing
H2 Yacht Design shaped the exterior profile around a more modern interpretation of classic superyacht styling, balancing long horizontal lines with sharper detailing and expansive glazing. A distinctive Tour de France Blue hull finish gives the yacht a recognisable identity on the water, while angled grilles and sculpted aft overhangs add texture across the five-deck profile. The clipper bow and carefully tiered superstructure maintain a sense of elegance despite the yacht’s substantial internal volume, helping create a silhouette designed to remain visually balanced from every angle.
Glass-sided pool and drive-in tender dock redefine onboard beach club living
One of the motor yacht’s standout features is the way its exterior guest spaces have been arranged around direct interaction with the sea. A 6.5m glass-sided swimming pool with a counterflow system forms the centrepiece of the main aft deck, surrounded by lounge seating and shaded social areas. Below, a fully enclosed drive-in tender dock opens directly into a full-beam beach club with fold-down terraces, creating a seamless transition between the yacht and the water. Higher up, the sundeck has been configured for day-to-night entertainment with an outdoor cinema, large bar, barbecue and teppanyaki grill, while the foredeck helipad has also been designed to function as a multi-sport court when not in aviation use.
A private owner’s deck anchors the yacht’s Art Deco-inspired interior
Inside, H2 Yacht Design developed an interior concept influenced by Art Deco styling, building on ideas first explored aboard the 77m superyacht Go. Blue accent tones echo the exterior hull colour throughout the interior spaces, while layered textures and architectural detailing create a more structured and refined atmosphere. A suspended Dale Chihuly sculpture positioned within the central atrium acts as a focal point connecting the decks, while the main saloon combines curved lounge seating with formal dining for up to 16 guests. Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests across seven cabins, including a dedicated owner’s deck complete with private lounge, office, dressing rooms and a terrace Jacuzzi. Wellness facilities including a hammam, sauna, spa and gym are positioned on the bridge deck.
MTU power and long-range capability prepare Angelique for Mediterranean cruising
Built on a displacement platform with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Angelique measures 88 metres overall with a beam of 13.2 metres and a draft of 3.9 metres. The yacht is powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M65L engines, delivering a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. The engineering package has been developed around long-range comfort and operational reliability, supporting the yacht’s role as a high-volume charter platform capable of extended Mediterranean itineraries while maintaining smooth onboard living across all guest areas.
