The Amels 80 completed a smooth transit from Damen’s hull construction facility in Galatz, Romania, and is now set to begin outfitting ahead of her scheduled delivery in 2027.
This Amels hull marks the next unit in the growing Amels 80 Limited Editions line, a semi-custom platform that has proven popular among owners looking for a balance of personalization and technical reliability. The model’s established naval architecture is the product of Damen Yachting’s in-house engineering team, with Espen Øino responsible for the exterior styling and Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design handling the interior.
With a gross tonnage of 2,175 GT, the yacht will accommodate up to 14 guests and a crew of 20 plus captain. While final outfitting details remain under wraps, Damen confirms this unit will be finished with a high level of craftsmanship and bespoke detailing, in line with the broader ethos of the Limited Editions platform.

What Defines the Amels 80
The Amels 80 was introduced as the next evolution of the Amels Limited Editions range. Designed to offer long-range capability, spacious living areas, and a refined onboard experience, the yacht draws on the shipyard’s decades of experience in both commercial and luxury sectors.
With exterior lines by Espen Øino, the motor yacht carries a strong and recognizable profile while maintaining enough flexibility in its general arrangement to accommodate various lifestyle preferences. The Sinot-styled interior is expected to deliver a tailored experience, although the specifics of the design for this hull have not yet been disclosed.
This latest Amels 80 is expected to remain in build at the Vlissingen facility until her delivery in 2027. She joins a growing fleet of Amels 80s now under construction. According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch and Intelligence, the largest yacht database in the industry, Damen Yachting currently has nine yachts on order across the Amels 80, Amels 60, and custom ranges.
