Bering Yachts Signs Contract for First 33m Bering 110 Explorer Yacht

Bering Yachts’ European branch has confirmed the contract signing for the first Bering 110 explorer yacht, a 33m vessel developed in collaboration with Red Yacht Design.

The Bering 110 introduces a new approach to long-range cruising, pairing rugged steel construction with superyacht-level comfort.

A New Generation of Explorer

Unveiled from the builder’s Antalya facility, the Bering 110 represents the next evolution of the brand’s explorer philosophy, focused on autonomy, efficiency, and usability. Constructed with a full-displacement steel hull and aluminum superstructure, the yacht is designed for long passages and remote itineraries.

Twin Caterpillar C18 engines, each rated at 715 horsepower, provide a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum of 12 knots at half load. With a fuel capacity of 47,000 liters and 6,500 liters of fresh water, she can travel over 5,000 nautical miles and remain self-sufficient for up to four weeks with 10 guests and five crew. At 299 gross tons, with an 8.17-meter beam and 2.4-meter draft, the yacht offers both ocean stability and access to shallow anchorages.

“This yacht is perfect for extended passages or cozy family getaways, offering private spaces for relaxation, work, study, or lively parties - without compromising on comfort or amenities,” said Alexei Mikhailov, founder of Bering Yachts. “It’s built for adventurers who demand both freedom and luxury.”

Onboard the Bering 110: Interior Layout and Living Spaces

The interior design, led by Red Yacht Design, prioritizes volume and functionality. A distinctive asymmetrical salon removes the starboard walkway to create an expanded, square-shaped living area, resulting in a broader and more inviting social space. The main deck flows from a forward-positioned galley into the full-beam owner’s suite, while the lower deck houses four guest staterooms and forward crew quarters.

The flybridge of the superyacht serves as an open-air retreat with a Jacuzzi, bar, and flexible seating. A spacious cockpit aft features a dining table for 12, a full bar, and generous lounge areas for outdoor dining or entertainment.

Designed for Endurance and Comfort

Every aspect of the B110 has been planned for practicality on long expeditions. The main deck galley includes professional-grade storage and preparation space, while the lower deck features a walk-in fridge/freezer, dual washer-dryer sets, and extensive cabinetry to support weeks at sea.

The Bering 110’s Place in the Explorer Family

According to YachtBuyer Market Watch & Intelligence, the Bering Yachts Explorer Range has 7 models currently in production. The new Bering 110 bridges the gap between the established Bering 88 and the flagship Bering 120. At 26m, the Bering 88 is a long-range steel trawler designed for owner-operated adventure. Her five-cabin layout accommodates up to ten guests, while a range of 5,000 nautical miles supports extended cruising. The model emphasizes practicality and seaworthiness, with a focus on efficiency and comfort over size.

At the upper end of the range, the 37m Bering 120 represents a step into full superyacht territory. With six guest cabins for up to twelve guests and nine crew, she delivers greater volume and luxury, pairing a 4,000-nautical-mile range with a top speed of 14 knots. Built from steel and aluminum, the B120 integrates advanced naval engineering and a more elevated onboard experience suited to global expeditions.

Positioned at the intersection of expedition capability and contemporary luxury, the Bering 110 delivers the autonomy of a true explorer within a compact, 300-GT platform. The contract marks another milestone for Bering Yachts’ European division, underscoring continued market confidence in the yard’s long-range steel yacht series.
