The Italian company is also introducing new five-blade propellers for its Dualis Electra range and a capacitive touchscreen display designed to integrate with a yacht's onboard network.
New LA fins reduce hydrodynamic drag
Making their Italian debut in Genoa, CMC Marine's new LA, or Low Aspect Ratio, fins have been developed by the company's Research & Development department as an evolution of its Stabilis Electra LR fins.
The new fins use a rounded-edge profile engineered to minimise turbulence while underway. According to CMC Marine, the configuration can reduce hydrodynamic drag by up to 30%, with benefits for system efficiency, fuel consumption and onboard comfort. The LA range is available for Stabilis Electra stabilisers using fins from 2.10 to 7 square metres.
Waveless STAB range expands
CMC Marine has also expanded its Waveless STAB family with the new STAB 50 and STAB 60. The two systems have been designed to deliver greater stabilisation capability while retaining compact dimensions.
Their introduction extends the application range of the STAB series to yachts measuring 40m and above, bringing the Waveless system to larger yacht installations.
Dualis Electra gains five-blade propellers
The Dualis Electra manoeuvring range has been updated with a new series of five-blade propellers, also developed by CMC Marine's R&D team.
New blade geometry has been engineered to improve efficiency while reducing noise and thrust fluctuations during maneuvering. CMC Marine states that thrust fluctuations can be reduced by up to 30%, contributing to smoother operation and increased onboard comfort.
New touchscreen display debuts
Completing the new technology presented in Genoa is a capacitive touchscreen display with a redesigned user interface. CMC Marine says the unit offers rapid responsiveness and has been developed to maintain its performance in bright sunlight.
CAN NMEA 2000 ports allow the display to integrate with the vessel's onboard network. Users can manage and monitor information, including navigation signals and GPS data, through the new interface.
Yachts to see at Genoa 2026
Beyond the technology displays, the Genoa International Boat Show brings together a wide range of yachts and boats, with larger models attending in 2026 including the 50m Mangusta 165 REV, 44m Azimut Grande 44M, 35m Pershing GTX116 and 34m Sanlorenzo SL110 Asymmetric.
Visitors can browse the YachtBuyer Genoa International Boat Show 2026 attending yachts page to explore the wider fleet, with models organised to highlight show premieres and yachts that have been YachtBuyer reviewed.
