Designed to deliver generous space and comfort, the model builds on the Sorrentine shipyard’s long-standing maritime heritage while introducing a fresh, contemporary direction aimed at today’s discerning owners.
A Flagship Born from Tradition
Rooted in Apreamare’s tradition of reimagining the classic Sorrentine gozzo, the Gozzo 48 Cabin continues the shipyard’s pursuit of timeless design with modern functionality. The boat is the result of a collaborative effort: Cataldo Aprea provided the concept, Marco Casali (Too Design) handled the exterior and interior styling, Umberto Tagliavini (Marine Design) led the naval architecture, and Apreamare’s in-house technical team oversaw development.

The goal was to create a yacht that elevates the core values of the brand: elegance, functionality, and structural integrity. In Cataldo Aprea’s words, the design avoids dramatic flourishes in favor of a balanced approach that merges innovation and comfort with deep respect for seafaring tradition.
Designed to Live Outdoors
The Gozzo 48 Cabin features a wide walkaround deck that prioritizes relaxation and sociable living. A large aft cockpit welcomes guests with a generous sunpad and L-shaped sofa. The central table, available in either a manual or retractable electric version, can integrate with the sunbed to create a wide lounging space.

Forward, a second sunbathing area offers a more intimate setup, with a sofa and armchairs arranged for conversation and comfort. This balance between open lounging and functional layout reinforces the yacht’s outdoor appeal, whether at anchor or underway.
Smart Layout, Stylish Finish
Natural light plays a central role in the interior of the Gozzo 48 Cabin. Large glass surfaces connect the cockpit with the main saloon, creating a sense of seamless flow between inside and out. The living area includes a 2.40-meter U-shaped dinette and a full galley that spans over 2.80 meters, offering more space than most yachts in its class.

High-quality materials—such as timber, leather, and custom finishes—contribute to an atmosphere of understated luxury. One of the more distinctive features is the starboard helm seat, which can be electrically converted into part of the saloon seating, increasing both comfort and flexibility for onboard use.
Adaptable Below Deck Design
Below deck, owners can opt for either a two- or three-cabin layout, with both configurations featuring two bathrooms with separate showers. A captain’s cabin can be added at the stern, accessible directly from the cockpit. This modular approach gives the yacht added flexibility for private use or light crewed operations.

The Gozzo 48 Cabin inherits the proven performance of the Gozzo line, with a variable geometry deep-V hull designed by Umberto Tagliavini. This hull form supports safe and stable cruising even in challenging sea conditions.
Buyers can choose between twin Volvo Penta IPS 700 or 800 engine packages for enhanced fuel economy, maneuverability, and overall performance. For those who prefer a more traditional setup, a shaft line version powered by twin Volvo Penta 600 hp engines is also available.
In Context: The Gozzo 48 Cabin and Its Sister Models
The new Gozzo 48 Cabin marks a clear step up within Apreamare’s Gozzo range, delivering greater internal volume, longer-range cruising capability, and added flexibility in both layout and propulsion when compared to its smaller siblings.
Below the 48 Cabin sits the Apreamare Gozzo 45, introduced in 2022 as a modern evolution of the walkaround cruiser. Like the 48, it prioritizes open-air living and smooth circulation on deck, but its slightly smaller 14.7-meter footprint translates into a more compact layout. The Gozzo 45 can still be configured with up to three cabins and maintains strong performance credentials with a 33-knot top speed and a range of 350 nautical miles, putting it in a sweet spot for owners who want versatility without moving into a full flagship class.

Further down the range, the Apreamare Gozzo 38 Cabin, launched in 2024, focuses on year-round usability. Its fully enclosed deckhouse and enhanced shelter make it especially appealing for Northern European cruising or extended shoulder-season use. At 11.45 meters, it offers a more modest interior layout with two cabins and a 217-nautical-mile range. It’s less spacious than the 48 or 45, but offers a more protected experience and can be operated comfortably by a single owner.

At the entry point of the lineup, the Apreamare Gozzo 35 keeps things simple and stylish. At 11.2 meters, it delivers classic Mediterranean lines, a low-profile open deck, and seating-forward design elements tailored to day cruising or shorter overnight trips. With just one cabin and a maximum guest capacity of two, it’s best suited to couples or day boaters who prize style and charm over extended cruising.

Compared to its stablemates, the Gozzo 48 Cabin offers more space, greater long-range comfort, and enhanced versatility. It builds on the Gozzo line’s trademark craftsmanship and seaworthiness, while introducing flexible accommodation, refined features like the convertible helm seat, and broader propulsion options. For owners seeking maximum comfort within the Gozzo range, it’s a clear next step.
