As the third hull in the CdM Flexplorer 146 series, Nasibe was commissioned by a young family with a strong focus on health, wellness, and sustainable living
A Family-Centered Build
From the keel-laying in September 2022, the owner of the explorer yacht and their representatives were closely involved in the creative and technical development. Broker William Yates of WSuperyachts, who introduced the project, emphasized the collaborative nature of the build.

Much of Nisiba’s design reflects this intention. For example, a dedicated family classroom and playroom on the main deck of the Cantiere delle Marche yacht is centered around a sculptural “tree of life” and a cork world map, providing an educational space rarely seen aboard yachts in this size category.
A Sustainable Interior
Nisiba’s interiors were created by Winch Design in collaboration with EcoNest and a Sustainable Materials Specialist. Together, they delivered a calm, tactile environment rooted in natural materials and low-impact finishes. The owner’s brief focused on health and sustainability, resulting in a “clean-living” design ethos carried through every surface on board the superyacht.

Low-VOC paints, reduced electromagnetic fields, and natural, non-toxic materials are standard throughout. Flooring from Mafi mimics the sensation of sand underfoot, while wool carpets are hand-loomed in Sardinia using organic dyes. The main salon on board the motor yacht features a feature wall made from crushed eggshells and reclaimed timber furniture, highlighting both creativity and ecological intent.

Lighting is also wellness-led, supporting circadian rhythms with soft, ambient sources. Sericyne silk and root-grown lamp fixtures add handcrafted detail, and the preserved moss wall at the main staircase brings living greenery indoors.
Wellbeing-First Accommodation
Nisiba accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins, including an owner’s suite forward on the main deck with office, dressing room, and a private infra-red sauna. Wardrobes are lined with pressed hay and alpine flowers, while the headboard is hand-woven from natural rope. These bespoke details reflect the broader commitment to wellbeing, comfort, and low-toxicity living. Four additional guest cabins are situated on the lower deck, each designed with privacy and serenity in mind.

The yacht also carries up to seven crew, with facilities to support long periods away from shore. Thoughtful separation of guest and crew circulation ensures smooth service and onboard discretion.
Designed for Ocean Life
Nisiba is designed by Hydro Tec with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. Her layout spans four decks, including a panoramic crow’s nest, with a gross tonnage of 499 GT. Key performance figures include a top speed of 14 knots and a cruising range of 5,500 nautical miles at 10 knots, powered by twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines.

The yacht’s robust hull form features a bulbous bow for better efficiency and comfort in heavy seas. True to her explorer profile, Nisiba is built to go far and stay long, with a layout that prioritizes versatility. Her expansive aft deck can host a large tender during passage and transforms into a lounging zone when at anchor, aided by a flush deck design and carbon fiber A-frame crane housed discreetly when not in use.
Built on Proven DNA, Made Distinctly Their Own
While Nisiba shares her platform with Maverick - the first Flexplorer 146 delivered by Cantiere delle Marche in 2024- she charts a very different course in character and intent. Both yachts are based on Hydro Tec’s robust explorer architecture, feature a steel hull, and sit just under the 500GT threshold, yet their interpretations of the series diverge significantly.

Maverick was built for an experienced yachtsman with a hands-on approach and a focus on performance, durability, and stylistic expression. Her Francesco Paszkowski interior pairs bold detailing with an asymmetrical salon, open galley, and gym, while exterior features include a transom infinity pool, ice-belt reinforced hull, and a 9.5-meter custom tender launched via a carbon A-frame crane.

By contrast, Nisiba’s design reflects a wellness-led, family-first approach. Styled by Winch Design, her interior prioritizes natural materials, low-toxicity finishes, and purpose-built spaces including a children’s classroom, infra-red sauna, and chilled plunge pool. Technical steps to reduce EMF and VOC exposure run throughout.

Tailored for a young family with a clear vision for wellness, sustainability, and long-range cruising, the launch of Nasibe exhibits how she stands apart in the Flexporer series and as a thoughtful evolution of the explorer yacht.
