Measuring 47 meters in length and delivered earlier this year from the Italian builder’s Ancona facility, the Columbus Atlantique 47 is already turning heads on the charter market with Fraser Yachts.
From Mosaic to Marble: Interior Highlights
Hot Lab’s “Architecture for Voyagers” philosophy defines the interior of the superyacht, which merges natural materials with crafted detail to create a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The main saloon is arranged for informal comfort, centered around custom white sponge-fabric sofas trimmed in blue, four Fendi Totu armchairs, and a teak coffee table. Large windows bring in natural light, while lacquered wood with metal-effect framing adds depth and texture.

Materials throughout include Vetrite panels, Sicis mosaic work, dark metal-effect finishes, and light oak parquet flooring. These are complemented by sculptural lighting such as the Cantalupi borosilicate glass tubes and Viabizzuno’s Linea chandeliers.

The main deck’s large television is cleverly integrated into a Stopsol glass panel, avoiding visual disruption.
Five Stateroom Layout with Full-Beam Owner Suite
The motor yacht Acqua Chiara accommodates 10 guests across five ensuite cabins. The full-beam owner’s suite is located forward on the main deck and features a private lounge area, walk-in wardrobe, and a bathroom with a hammam shower and marble-lined tub. Decorative touches include dark leather furnishings, blown-glass lamps by Bonaldo, and geometric Sicis mosaics in silver.

On the lower deck, there are two king-size guest suites and two twin cabins, each finished with dark leather accents and bespoke mosaic bathrooms. Decorative lighting continues with Bonbori-Brokis appliques and gold-accented bedside lamps by Oluce. The crew quarters can accommodate up to nine crew across five cabins, with four located forward on the lower deck and the captain’s cabin adjacent to the bridge.
Contemporary Lines with Seafaring Function
Designed inside and out by Hot Lab, with naval architecture from Columbus Yachts, Acqua Chiara introduces a clean yet sculptural exterior that widens at the midsection before tapering toward the bow and stern. A 499GT volume sits across a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, with a beam of 9.1 meters and a shallow 2.4-meter draft.

The design of the yacht centers on liveability and proximity to the water, especially at the stern. Here, three terraced levels provide a progression of outdoor spaces: a shaded dining area, a main lounge with a pool and fold-out balconies, and a beach platform positioned just 50 centimeters above the sea.

A second pool is located forward on the upper deck, paired with sun loungers, a circular sofa and side tables. The expansive sun deck offers further relaxation zones with sofas, armchairs, and a large sunpad with integrated bar, emphasizing the yacht’s open-air credentials.
Toys, Tenders, and Performance
A five-meter tender is housed in a midship garage to starboard, while a second garage forward on the port side stores a rescue tender and two Jet Skis. Charter guests can also take advantage of the open-air beach club, which includes a sunpad-lined pool just steps from the water.

Powered by twin Caterpillar engines of 1,350hp each, Acqua Chiara delivers a top speed of 15.5 knots and cruises comfortably at 14.5 knots. Her range extends to 3,400 nautical miles at 12 knots.
