First Look at the Latest 38m Azimut Grande Trideck Yacht with Fresh m2atelier Interior Design

Azimut Yachts has unveiled the interior of the latest 38m Azimut Grande Trideck ahead of its public debut.

The yacht will make her public debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival this September, presenting a completely reimagined interior by Milan-based studio m2atelier and exterior lines by Alberto Mancini Yacht Design.

Interior Concept: Refined Informality

The interiors depart from traditional opulence in favor of a warm, pared-back aesthetic. A limited but rich material palette emphasizes texture, softness and architectural layering of space and light. Straight lines dominate the layout to expand the perception of space, while subtle diagonal elements create a sense of intimacy.

Among the standout features is the “Revealing Wall” in the main saloon - a pleated Alcantara panel that conceals a TV screen. Depending on the moment, the feature can serve as an artistic backdrop or reveal a hidden entertainment system.

The owner’s suite continues the theme of openness through layered partitions and extended sightlines that allow guests to see from the saloon through to the suite and beyond to the sea. Integrated lighting forms part of the architecture itself, shaping the mood of each space rather than serving as decoration.

Furniture throughout the yacht includes custom pieces crafted by Italian brand Giorgetti, designed specifically for the Grande Trideck to align with the project’s cohesive vision.

Outdoor Living and Flexible Spaces

The exterior design introduces a versatile skylounge with a convertible hi-lo table that functions as a coffee table, dining table for 12, or media-room centerpiece. This adaptability reflects how owners increasingly prefer to live onboard, with spaces that transform throughout the day.

The foredeck features a recessed pool, integrated chaise longue, and a rotating sunpad backrest, reinforcing Azimut’s emphasis on usable, multifunctional outdoor areas.

Although the first unit is only now being delivered, demand has been robust. Azimut has already sold seven Grande Trideck yachts ahead of the public debut, while the new Grande 30M has secured eight pre-sales. Interest spans key markets including China, Japan and the United States.

A New Chapter for the Grande Series

The project signals the start of a fresh design direction for Azimut’s Grande range, which also includes the upcoming 30M and 36M models. According to Federico Lantero, Azimut’s Head of Product Design, the shipyard began collaborating with m2atelier more than three years ago to redefine the interior identity of its larger yachts. “This is not just an aesthetic refresh, it is a comprehensive design philosophy,” he explained.

Azimut’s integral design approach gave m2atelier full responsibility for the yacht’s spatial architecture, furniture and material choices. The result is a coherent interior style built on simplicity, tactility and what Radovic and Bonelli describe as “barefoot luxury.”

Other Azimut Grande Yachts Heading to Cannes 2025

According to YachtBuyer Market Watch, the world's largest yacht database, Azimut will present three other models from the Grande range alongside the new Grande Trideck at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival.

The Azimut Grande 26M, the smallest in the range, combines a versatile five‑cabin layout with 30‑knot performance. Its Deck2Deck system extends the cockpit into a sea‑level terrace, creating a layout that feels both practical and sophisticated for extended stays at sea.

The Azimut Grande 30M continues this focus on adaptable spaces, featuring the Infinity Skydeck and Deck2Deck Terrace to connect indoor and outdoor areas. As part of Azimut’s Low Emission Yacht family, it also offers reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions while maintaining the styling of the larger Grande models.

The multi‑award‑winning Azimut Grande 36M is defined by its semi‑walkaround upper deck and retractable side windows, which enhance the connection between the skylounge and aft terrace. A glass whirlpool tub at the bow and a range of flexible interior layouts highlight the yacht’s emphasis on guest comfort and adaptable living spaces.
