Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement fiberglass hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 8.18m beam and a 2.26m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 299 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2008. Launched in April 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in June 2011.
Exterior Design
Allora is a 36.91m (121.2ft) Benetti tri-deck motor yacht with exterior design by Stefano Righini. The profile is classic Benetti, with a high-volume form, long glazing lines, and a balanced superstructure that favours interior space over aggressive styling. The white hull and superstructure keep the look clean, while the extended window bands bring light deep into the main and upper decks.
The aft deck is set up for dining, with a large table and built-in seating that connects directly to the main saloon. Above, the bridge deck aft expands this into a second open-air dining space with a bar, stools, refrigeration, and ice maker. This dual setup allows separate guest groups to use different decks without overlap.
The sundeck is the main leisure space. A central jacuzzi sits forward, surrounded by sunpads, while the hardtop shades a bar and lounge area. Loose loungers fill out the remaining deck space, so the whole area works for both sunbathing and longer stays at anchor.
Forward, the bow remains open and practical but can double as a quiet retreat when underway. Side decks run full length, which keeps movement around the yacht straightforward for both guests and crew.
At the stern, the garage holds the tender and water toys, keeping the exterior lines uncluttered. The setup supports a large tender, including a 10.6m (35ft) Chris-Craft configured for fishing, along with a full spread of toys.
Interior Design
The interior by Patrick Knowles leans into a warm, classic finish with high-gloss woods and marble surfaces. The main saloon uses rich timber joinery, balanced by lighter soft furnishings and large windows that keep the space from feeling heavy.
The saloon includes a built-in bar with sink, fridge, and ice maker, so it functions as a social hub without relying on crew movement from the galley. Forward, the formal dining area sits in a defined space with strong visual continuity through the same materials and flooring.
Lighting is handled through recessed LEDs, which highlight the joinery without drawing attention to fixtures. The effect is low-key and consistent across the deck.
The skylounge adds a second interior social space with its own bar and TV setup. A dumbwaiter links service areas, so it works well for extended use without interrupting guest flow. The space is flexible enough for casual use or evening entertainment.
The galley is fitted for full-time use, with Miele appliances, large prep areas, and significant cold storage. The layout supports proper service rather than occasional cooking.
Forward, the bridge is practical and enclosed, with side deck access on both sides. The captain’s cabin sits close by, which shortens response time when underway.
Accommodation
Allora accommodates 10 guests across five cabins, with crew space for seven.
The owner’s suite sits on the main deck and spans the full beam. It includes a king-size bed, a private study area, and two walk-in wardrobes. Large windows bring in light, while the en suite uses twin basins and a steam shower with multiple outlets and teak flooring.
On the lower deck, two VIP cabins sit aft, each with queen beds, en suites, and strong storage. Forward, two twin cabins include Pullman berths, which allows flexible guest arrangements. All guest cabins have their own bathrooms and entertainment systems.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 12-cylinder 1,550hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Allora is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 41,640 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,400 nautical miles at 12 knots.
